Have you heard of DINTEO? It’s a way to take control of your food cravings. Sounds weird, but it actually works!

It’s a tactic to handle those times when you’re suddenly confronted with yummy baked goods at work or a display of your favorite (j***y) food at the grocery store. All you do is ask yourself “Do I Need This Eating Opportunity?”

Like I said - sounds strange, but it helps big time to take the control away from the food and gives it back to YOU! It’s surprisingly powerful. We are blessed with SO MANY “eating opportunities” in our world today – it’s just up to us to choose which ones help us reach our goals and which ones don’t. Try it for yourself and see!

Here’s a common-sense, old-school food craving tip that works!!! Just because you have a craving, doesn’t mean you have to give up on your goals… you can use these tips to have the BEST of both!

🍝 Craving Pasta? Try the fiber/protein-rich varieties made out of lentils or chickpeas (these are surprisingly filling!) OR use spiralized veggie noodles – they are literally everywhere now in grocery stores, fresh and frozen!

🍦 Craving Ice Cream? Try whipping up a frozen dessert bowl with 1 cup frozen berries and ¼ to ½ cup of your favorite milk. Blend in ½ scoop of your favorite protein powder for more oomph!

It seems so simple but small changes like these that can add up to big results building a healthy lifestyle! 💪

It really was too good to be true. If you use artificial sweeteners to help with your sweet tooth, you might be setting yourself up for even MORE sugar cravings. 🍪🍩

You're probably now wondering how that is even possible. At least I was! Scientists say non-caloric sweeteners can change how sensitive your taste buds are to sweetness. Some of them are 200 to 200,000 times sweeter than actual sugar... I told you, it was too good to be true!! Over time, this can cause you to crave even MORE sugar.

Yesterday I made a decision to conquer one of my fears-swimming alone in the deep sea.

The past few weeks I’ve been taking steps to conquer some of my fears because I realized that courage precedes confidence.

When we make the decision to step into our personal next level, it will not come without fear and emotion.

We are always meant for growth, yet most people remain stagnant. Fear holds us back in ways we can't even see.

I've identified a few reasons, I believe, are hinderances to taking huge leaps:

🔐We question ourselves - this can be a variety of ways from what we're capable of to our expertise to whether or not we're even good enough to deserve the success we desire. Lack of belief will always hold us back.

🔐We don't know what's possible - you MUST uncover possibilities you didn't know existed to step into your next level self. I've done this always through mentorship.

🔐Fear of failure - this can prevent us from even starting or from taking the action required to actually create success. And we interpret failure as a negative thing when it does happen, rather than seeing failures as lessons.

🔐We lack a strong enough WHY - and this reason WHY we want what we say we want must be bigger than ourselves. Only dreams of great impact are going to motivate you in the toughest times.

🔐You have to be clear on how much you WANT it and not accept less - if you hope to achieve greatness in your business/life, you have to want it more than anything and more than everyone else in your competitive space. Then, you have to take action every day that aligns with that desire.

I know I've held myself back around each point above on multiple occasions and continue to work on them. Which one(s) do you struggle with most?

Did you know something as simple as slowing down your eating can improve your health and all around your well-being?? When you eat slowly, you digest better. You will lose or maintain weight more easily and you will even feel more satisfied with each meal.

Most of us consistently feel rushed, distracted, and most of us have the mind set that we're "too busy" to even eat. So, rather than not eat, we'll eat something really quickly. When we rush our eating we don't recognize that we're full, which means we usually eat more than we should.

It's simple, slow down your eating and rather enjoy your improved health and well-being 😊

Moving my body. That is what keeps me motivated when I'm feeling off or honestly..lazy! Moving your body can be as simple as taking a walk down the beach or to your local farmers market.

But, what is your WHY? Why do you want to feel strong? Why are you looking to be more healthy? 💪

One of the keys to staying motivated is to find out exactly your personal "whys.” Those reasons are usually deeper than we think.

Let's get real about food cravings... We ALL get them (guilty). It's the inevitable. BUT, there is a way to work around your cravings when you do feel those cravings coming on. Let me tell you what I do to help with those cravings 👇🏼

✨ Find healthy food to eat instead
✨ Brush your teeth
✨Go to bed early
✨ Go for a walk
✨ Have a big drink of water
✨ Allow yourself to have a few bites of it
