Darah Joseph is a courageous 14 yr old athlete who sadly lost her battle to Ewing Sarcoma cancer in August 2013. She will be forever remembered as a hero.
Darah Joseph is the daughter of Dana Wood (Brad) and Dennis Joseph (Amalia). She is a sister to Haley Joseph, step-sister to Marlee Wood (Justin Jasper), Samantha Wood;, Charlie Wood and Aaron Albanito. Darah was a vibrant, intelligent and athletic teenager who inspired so many through her motivation, dedication and her NEGU (never ever give up) attitude. Darah has touched so many lives and contin
ues to be a part of many of the sports teams she was involved in. She leaves behind wonderful memories and sends signs from above that she is always around. It was Darah's last wish to help find a cure for Ewing Sarcoma. She unselfishly donated her tissue and blood for research. Her mother Dana remains dedicated to supporting this cause in Darah's name. There will be a book released written by her Mom, Dana called "Mama, I'm Not Gone". It will be available July 2014. Also, we continue to support the Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada. Dana has been appointed as the Director of Western Development for ECFC.
