Weis College House is hosting a Holi Celebration this Saturday, April 20th from 1-3PM!

Holi is an ancient Hindu color festival, with music, decorations, food, water balloons, and best of all, beautiful and vibrant colored powders which participants throw into the air and at each other. Weather permitting, the event will take on the Weis College House Lawn.

Food will be catered from Namaste.

Yoga is available for students in the Weis Great Room at 6 pm tonight. This is open to all F&M students.

The Weis Assembly of Peers is hosting an educational forum discussing and debating the current state of mental health and F&M administrative policy, as well as mental health concerns in higher education more broadly. Our hope for the event is to provide a basic understanding of our college’s administrative policies concerning students with serious mental health impediments, and to provide a dynamic, multifaceted, and analytical discussion of the varying attitudes and policies towards mental health in higher education.

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:30 pm in LSP 142. We hope that you are able to join us and participate in the conversation.

Weis College House is contributing to International Week by hosting an Indian dessert cooking presentation and Namaste house dinner tomorrow, Thu Feb 28.

The cooking presentation will take place from 6:00-6:30 PM in the Weis kitchen, and the dinner will follow at 7PM in the Weis Great Room. Please join us in celebrating Indian cuisine!

(Note that the dinner is only open to Weis House affiliates.)

Tomorrow (Thursday) we will have three events in the Weis Great Room:

At 12:30 pm we will host a reception for our Common Hour speaker, Jeanne Kincaid.

We will have our weekly coffee hour at 4:30 pm.

At 5:30 pm we will have a senior Marshall Fellow presentation by Vinh To '19 titled "Preferred Shares Conversion in Venture Capital".

For those students interested in the BOS program. Professors Seth Kopchak and Bryan Stinchfield will coming to Weis next week in to answer any questions you have about BOS major.

The Q&A session will take place on February 19 during uncommon hour (11:30-12:30) in the Weis Great Room.
