During this pandemic, it is easy to forget how resilient we are.
iheartโs message is that resilience and wellbeing is innate and always accessible โ no matter what
***This is a one off offering to children & parents***
iheart addresses the mental health crisis facing our youth through the implementation of key principles that educate young people on the workings of our psychological system. This approach focuses on three unique differentiators:
1) PREVENTION (as opposed
to crisis intervention);
2) MENTAL WELLNESS (as opposed to mental illness);
3) EDUCATION (as opposed to raising awareness and acute treatment).
DM or email [email protected] to enrol or for further information.
*** our young people need support NOW, more than ever *** in facing challenges such as bullying/anxiety/social media/self-worth/school

As I am listening to this amazing conversation and realise, Iโm white knuckle riding life right now...believing iโm the one in control๐
โจ
Our brains are not just label makers, they are story tellers tooโฆIt is very busy, making sense of what it sees โout thereโโฆit looks for past examples and even tries to make sense of how the stories play out in โnon existingโ futures.
This machine in our heads job is to tell us basically that it has got everything under controlโฆso of course we listen to it, of course where up at 2am in the morning listening to itโฆwhen we donโt believe there is a bigger guide called โwisdomโ living us
We would not be here today if we didnโt have โwisdomโ living us!

Good morning Lost in Thought community๐ค
I was inspired by this topic after realising how much insecurity I am experiencing in my life right now...and how it looks so real to me, giving the thinking I am have having lately๐
Of course...if our experience is bought to life through our psychological systems via โthinkingโ then what I am thinking in that moment I will experience as my feelings. The more I attach to that thinking (believing it to be true) the more intense the feelings will be...
Fear, insecurities, frustration, lack of motivation etc
So, if I am experiencing these emotions then it looks to me like thatโs my reality, right? thatโs all thatโs available...iโm stuck in that!
But what is truly amazing about our psychological systems is we can reset at any time through โinsightโ...yes, just like a computer ๐ป has a โresetโ button so too do we. As soon as we have an insight/realisation then our level of consciousness rises and we see thinks differently...
..breaking attachments and dissolving unhelpful thinking
Creating a new reality, we are never stuck, itโs just the illusion that we are!
How many times have you felt stuck in your life? looking back, notice how many times you have become unstuck...that unstuckness is a rise in consciousness. That makes way for our innate wellbeing to shine through. Itโs available to everyone, itโs innateโบ๏ธ
When our minds settle and we rest in wellbeing, we access our innate wisdom and find our way out of the situations we once seemed to be stuck in, freeing us of that sense heaviness and mind fullness
Happiness is one thought away ~ (Syd Banks)
Have a wonderful weekend โค๏ธ
When we believe our well-being is dependant on something outside of ourselves, we will form an attachment to that โthingโ and believe we can only be happy when it is available to us!
โจ
will be delivering iheart curriculum...Helping young people uncover their innate resilience and wellbeing
โจ
For further information please send a DM and we will be happy to give you further details
Had my own insight around this todayโบ๏ธ
โจ
I have been putting off and avoiding doing a certain task for almost 2 weeks now
โจ
I woke with it playing on my mind this morning...
โจ..it hit me
โจ
I am so attached to the outcome of not wanting to mess it up๐
โจ
I can see how I have used procrastination as a way of avoidance to keep me safe and avoid feeling the feelings of dissatisfaction and disappointment
โจ
Wow, such a huge insight for me
โจ
Would love to hear some of your insight around this โthe presenting problem is not always the real problemโ

Feelings make us human. And letting yourself feel is the very best you can do for yourself and for others. To bring the best in you, you gotta observe, absorb and absolve every emotion, every thought that runs inside your mind.
It won't make you weak, it will make you potent ๐
โSustainable Change doesnโt happen through doing...it happens through beingโ
โซ๏ธ
We are part of nature, not APART from it...just like nature is ever changing we are too!
๐ง
โ the answers to those problems will not be seen at the same level of thinking and understanding from which they were createdโ ~ Albert Einstein
When you aren't distracted by your own negative thinking, when you don't allow yourself to get lost in moments that are gone or yet to come, you are left with this moment. This moment-now-truly is the only moment you have ~ Sydney Banks
Things are always so much easier when you have the instructions
โจ
Life is no different...when you understand our own โPsychological Systemโ life is so much easier to navigate!
We can never really loose happiness in the first place...it is inbuilt, innate in all of use
โจ
It just gets covered up by contaminated thinking
โจ
Just like the sun โ๏ธ is always in the sky, even when itโs covered by the clouds โ
๏ธ
Expectation = unhappiness
โจ
When we expect things to be a certain way, and it doesnโt show up that way...The type of feelings we gonna experience are, disappointment, unhappiness, victims
โจ
Accept what isโบ๏ธ
when we spend too much time dwelling on the past, or time travelling into the future...we cause ourselves unnecessary suffering
โจ
Often, we fail to accept what has happed, happening or going to happen with us. So, we start to think too much about the โcircumstanceโ and make ourselves unhappy.
โจ
When we rest is the โnowโ that suffering ends๐๐ป
When you are touched by this understanding, that we are the โprinciples in motionโ the implications are magnificent...creating change in our own state of mind and level of understanding that allows us to see life through โnewโ eyes.
โFrom the tiniest atom to the greatest mountain on earth, all life is one infinite ball of pulsating consciousness.โ ~ Sydney Banks
I was so reminded of this, on my journey to work this morning
โจ
After ranting at the TV during a Covid-19 debate, I do not watch news, but hubby was watching!
โจ
I was totally distracted by whatโs wrong with the world...and guess what? I found more of it, things that annoyed me
โจ
Then BOOM bought back to the natural beauty all around me
โจ
My journal takes me on beautiful back roads with fields & horses...the sun was coming up and early morning mist covered fields in such a beautiful magical scene
โจ
Then my reality changed and I started to see beauty instead of annoyance๐๐ป
โจ
Moral of the story...what ever we seek, we will find
Gratitude is a deep feeling that connects us to our true Self where wisdom is stored. This deep feeling releases insights, which helps us evolve and move forward on our inner journey ~ Elsie Spittle (Nuggets of Wisdom 11)
โIt is the now that takes you from living in the darkness of yesterdayโs negative memories and turns the darkness into light. Remember, my friend, darkness cannot survive in the midst of light snd living in the now is that light.โ ~ Sydney Banks
No one...no thing has the power to put a feeling inside of you
โจ
The power lies with YOU!
When we drop out of personal thinking๐ญ and slow down to the speed of life we experience beautiful implications...seeing more deeply, experiencing our innate peace of mind, connection and compassion! We have a whole new experience of the exact same world โบ๏ธ
โWhatever you fight, you strengthen, and what you resist, persists.โ ~Eckhart Tolle
Do you worry about how many negative thoughts you have?
โจ
We are led to believe that negative thoughts are bad, we should get rid of them!
โจ
We believe...in order to feel happy, we should clear our minds of negative thoughts
โจ
So what do we do with all that negative noise in our head...How do we make it stop? how do we swap negative thought for a more positive one?
โจ
Most people misunderstand negative thinking because they do not understand where our thoughts come from in the first place!
โจ
Peace of mind does not depend on how few negative thoughts you have
โจ
Itโs in the understanding of how our mind truly works
โจ
Peace of mind, resilience, love, compassion are built into our phyche...itโs our natural state, when we do not label, attach or judge thoughts๐ญ they are neither negative or positive...thought is a divine gift
โจ
When we see that it is our own interpretation of reality through the power of thought, we can have any experience we choose๐๐ป
โจ
If we believe the power is โout thereโ and not our own interpretations then we will be a victim of circumstances, believing that external things have the power to put feelings โinsideโ of us! and not out thinking about it...

๐What do we teach (in a nutshell)?
An overarching question of enquiry underpins the iheart Curriculum:
โDo you think someone, or something, is putting a feeling in you?
The answer to this question, either โyesโ or โnoโ, acts as a compass, informing us if we are on or off track and reconnects us with our and .
Based on this enquiry, the iheart Curriculum teaches:
Based on this enquiry, the iheart Curriculum teaches:
โ๏ธWhat is innate/built-into our psychological system
โ๏ธ Why we think, feel and behave the way we do
โ๏ธWhy and how our wellbeing gets covered up and uncovered again
โ๏ธ How our built-in compass helps us return to our wellbeing

When intellectual thought is quiet for a moment, wisdom shines through and reveals our true inner identity. The intellect asks โwhyโ - wisdom knows โwhyโ. ~ Elsie Spittle
our feeling never let us down...they inform us we are โoff trackโ or โon trackโ๐ซ
No caption needed ๐๐ป
So I had my own experience of this yesterday!
โจ
Growing up I was always terrified of the dentist and hated needles, the thought of a needle paralysed me with fear
โจ
I made an appointment for the dentist a couple of weeks ago, I didnโt have any thinking about it at the time
โจ
I suddenly realised on the morning just before my appointment that I had forgotten about being so scared ๐ฆ
โจ
I donโt know when I lost this fear๐คทโโ๏ธ but itโs clear that now my thinking about it has changed, so too did the experience of my visit ๐ฅ
โจ
Just as a side note...I didnโt have to do a thing, no talking myself down, no thinking positive (it will be ok)...not a thing๐
โจ
Thatโs the power of understanding how the mind really works...things just begin to fall away
โจ
โinsightโ a sight from within...understanding of your own mind is the path to create opportunities to see things differentlyโ
About
Are you feeling overwhelmed by all the information that is being given to us daily?
Were you feeling under pressure before, from your work, managing a family, children, bills, but now you feel this is a different level of pressure?
You may be in a 'low-risk' category, but are fearful for your family, friends and neighbours or you may be in a 'higher-risk' group, due to health/ age and are concerned about your health and those of friends.
There is so much that changes day-to-day and it's this uncertainty of the what the future holds, that fills you with a feeling of angst.
