I have been on a hat kick lately with school starting soon for everyone! I’m missing the time spent in the classroom preparing for a new group of hat kids. However, I am loving my time at home with bits of time here and there to still create.

These are my newest first day hats! Each of these will have birthday, 100th day, and last day hats created at some point this year.

Each hat includes two different designs with the option of first day of school, preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.

🎨My son is obsessed with matching and getting the hang of memory! I created a color matching with dinosaurs.

🎨There are two different versions. One has just the images and the other has the color words on the images. I plan to teach my son go fish. This can be used perfectly for that as well!

I turned in my keys today, so it is officially goodbye to first grade and teaching. I hope to go back when my boys are older.

9 years worth of memories in this classroom! It was a hard decision to step away, but I am at peace with it. I was feeling burnt out, and also wanting to be more present with my boys.

Here is to a new adventure! 🩵

•tournament of books•

One of my favorite things to teach is starting! I’m sad I do not get to do this with my class this year, but I know it will be fun for them! They will listen to two books each day. Then, they will vote for their favorite on a voting slip. My sub will count the votes after school and announce the winner that will move onto the next round.

My prediction is I Am Going vs The Very Impatient Caterpillar in the championship round in a few weeks. I have been surprised each year with the two books in the finals. We will see what happens this year!

Happy 100th Day 36 weeks pregnant!

It’s me, hi! Finally made it to Thanksgiving Break!

Baby number 2 is a boy!! Love my boy and can’t wait to see him with his little brother! 💙

Pumpkin day was extra fun this year! We went to my friend’s farm and picked pumpkins! We also fed alpacas!!
