I can’t thank this diverse group of men and women enough for coming together to make a statement about something that took place in Minnesota ‘The State of Hockey’. Which impacts everyone around the world.
They are Family, Friends, NCAA Champions, World Jr Champions, World Champions, Olympic Gold Medalists, 1st Round Draft Picks, Team Captains, All Star Game MVPs, Team Doctors, College Graduates, Coaches, NHL Scouts, NHL Broadcasters, Top Agents, Team Executives, NHL Executives, Isobel Cup Champions, Stanley Cup Champions, Hockey Hall of Famers, Union Leaders, and the NHL Commissioner.
Not ONE individual asked ‘who else is involved’ or ‘is the League behind this’ before agreeing to lend their powerful voices.
There might not be any sports but that didn’t stop these athletes, executives, and young people from rising to the occasion and leading within their communities with their voices to stand up against racism.
They truly are leaders ON and OFF the ice and I’m proud to be a part of the NHL community!!✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
