This camp is doing fantastic work with young people! They focus heavily on creating a diverse camper and staff population and making space for campers to have choice and autonomy for the most incredible and fun experiences for everyone.

I don't know if anyone will see this, as I have left this page largely unattended for many years. But, somehow, slowly over time, people keep on liking this page!
One, two, sometimes three a week find me. Several hundred of you over the last few years!! And I want you to know, I'm super grateful. And I know that you sought out this page for a reason.
Later on in 2021, I'm going to be putting some major work into this Liberating Kids project. I am graduating with my master's in education from the University of Washington, if I can ever finish my thesis on the Free Schools movement!!
Every day I dream of who I want to interview when I start up the Liberating Kids podcast again. I want this to be a space to showcase all of the conversations and projects going on all over the world that people need to hear about.
Parents, young people, teachers, staff, dreamers, academics--all of the gloriously liberating things that you are doing! We will have a podcast and a YouTube channel for sure, and who knows what else!! I'd like to create a clearinghouse of connection and information and community.
That is my dream, and that's why I went to grad school in the first place. I'm quitting my job and moving to Europe in the fall so that I can live more cheaply and focus on this project. Please stay with me here.
