Today is another busy day at Paul Munro! We miss our students and hope their summer is off to a good start!

Mr. Howard Scott has touched and impacted countless lives during his 28 years at Paul Munro Elementary School. To say, " He will be missed." is truly an understatement. Thank you, Mr. Scott for your dedication to our school! We love you! You will always be a part of our Paul Munro family!

Last week Mrs.Doremus, Ms. Callaham, Mrs.Mason, & Mrs.Bingham’s Kindergarten students became published authors! They had book launch parties to reveal their new books to their families.

The forecast for rain won't stop the fun at Paul Munro tomorrow! Bring your family and friends and have a fun day!

All of our carnival fun will be brought indoors, yes, including inflatables! We will have all of our favorite games, a caricature artist, a mini petting zoo, and food trucks from some of our favorite vendors!

Tomorrow is our last Spirit Day of the 23-24 school year! Wear your red, white, or blue shirt and see if your class can win the Spirit Bear!

Our Petting Zoo Day dreams came true today. Our students and staff had a great time hanging out with some pretty cool
new friends. Thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring our special day!

Yesterday our kindergartners had a great time hunting for numbers! They searched the playground for eggs numbered by 10s from 10-120. It was such a fun and egg-citing way to end the week.

Bienvenido to the PME Spanish Club! They had their first meeting today! Señora Schewel and Señora Stewart taught about Spain, flamenco dancing, and how to say some Spanish words (for example: montañas y la playa). We played some games and made pretend paella! 🇪🇸

We appreciate our wonderful PTO for always providing a meal and snacks for our faculty and staff on work days and professional development days. Thank you!

It was a pleasure to have three of our Paul Munro Alumni return on Thursday. The E.C. Glass Varsity Football players met with 3rd grade students to share their experiences as high school student-athletes. Thank you Max Calloway, Marty Kittrell and Sam Treacy for taking the time today to visit with us.

We celebrated the last day of our Read-A-Thon with a Grade Level Team Colors Day! Our students really showed their love of reading this week. Way to go Patriots!

Our school was full of book characters today. We dressed up as our favorite book characters for our Read-A-Thon. Keep logging those minutes Patriots!

Kindergarten had fun playing in pajamas today at recess! Our Read-A-Thon Spirit Week continues tomorrow with Wear Your Favorite Team Attire!

Way to go Patriots! We had over 200 students and staff members wear blue shirts today! 💙🤍💙
