Proud Mama Moment!!! 🥹🫶🏾
Dear God,
I must’ve pictured this day a thousand times and here we are! Lord I ask that you watch over our children as they enter into their classrooms. Let your grace and mercy cover and protect our precious babies. God I ask that you let the fruits of the spirit cover my son and anyone who is connected to him in Jesus name! Lord I ask that you bless the hearts and minds of each teacher who will have influence over our children. I pray that each teacher has a true passion for teaching and that their lives will be blessed for giving back to our students.
As much as I love my son I know that you love him even more, and I know you will protect him and guide him every step of the way.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.🙏🏽

Never in a million years did I think I’d inspire elementary school students to attend the best HBCU in the world!
Hampton is a big part of me and has contributed to much of my success. I am an advocate for education because I know the positive impact it has on our lives.
My student is determined to attend Hampton University and one day become Miss. Hampton University!
So on the days I feel frustrated, and in those moments when I feel defeated, I remember moments like this.
These are the reasons why I teach! 👩🏽🏫🍎
