A whole year since I last posted an update! It’s been a very busy year with all sorts going on, take a look at the pics to see what I’ve been up to…

The ‘to do list’ is getting a bit more manageable now so I’m currently looking to keep it topped up but not overbearing like it has been for a while! Probably due a bit of an update, it’s been a while. Another job completed and chalked off the list, onto the next now!

Rear extension and front porch added to a family home in Folkestone. Customer happy, I’m happy, everyone’s happy so all good 👌

Latest project that is pretty much finished (inside at least) is my house. Rear extension, replacing existing conservatory, creating a nice open space and new L shape kitchen. Was involved in every stage of this job, quite literally doing everything myself with the help of some great friends and family along the way so a massive thank you to all who chipped in at one time or another, really appreciate it!

Outside is still needing a bit of work and a coat of paint left to do in a couple of places but after getting to this stage this evening, I was too excited not to share pics 🤪😂. (I know I need to fit the kickboards too!)

I hope 2023 is off to a good start for everybody and continues in the same way. Here is the final bathroom project completed by myself in 2022. Flooring was the only job that was to be completed by somebody else, hence the pictures before it was fitted. Currently working on getting my own house back together into a liveable state but looking at booking in jobs from early-mid February onwards.

So in between my hobby of trying to win motorbike races, I’ve still been working away. Here are the last two jobs I completed, both sandstone patios with oak sleeper boarders/steps as requested by the customers. Forgot the before photos of the first one but pretty happy with how they turned out! 👌

Had a little labouring help on both to make things a little easier for myself, nice to actually work with someone for a change too!

Latest bathroom finished. Had some difficulties with this one. Nothing was even near level or square so a lot of getting around issues was required. However, customer was happy with the end result as was I.

A kitchen I have been working on recently. Plan was to open it up and also brighten it with lighter units and worktop etc. Almost done, just some small bits to finish off like new light fittings and plinths and it’ll be there.

All work carried out myself. Decorating to be done by client, before anyone points that out 😝.

Plenty of tiling recently, here’s a recent floor tiling job I completed…

A kitchen I did some finishing touches to. Including fresh lick of white paint, tiling between worktops and wall units and cleaning up of old dirt and silicone on existing floor tiles. Clean and fresh!

A very small shower room I recently completed. Not much room for manoeuvre but got the job done and another happy client. Was a good work out too with the flat being top two floors and the shower room being right at the top. I counted around 75 steps each time from the van up to the work space 😮‍💨

Been a while, thought I better do an update of some of my latest work. A couple of bathrooms here, one for a customer and the second my own at home. All work carried out by myself from start to finish. Pretty happy with how both turned out 👌

How about this for a ? My biggest job to date, extension to rear corner of the house to give it a square footprint and then complete removal of rear side of roof, massive dormer installed and re-installation of roof at correct pitch onto new rear wall. All work completed by myself and my cousin (with the help of a couple of others in places to get things done a bit more quickly) apart from brickwork, electrical rewire which was of course carried out by a certified electrician and windows which were supplied and fitted by a contact of the clients. Build included underfloor heating downstairs, all first fix plumbing, all work completed to correct specifications as per building regulations and steel structure as detailed by structural engineers.
