Eid Mubarak for you all
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ ﴿٦﴾
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful. (6)
قال تعالى: ( وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ ﴿٤﴾ وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ ﴿٥﴾
سورة الضحى
Allah the Almighty said:
(And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. (4) And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. (5)
Soorat Ad-Dhuha
عن أبى هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا تحسبوا و لا تبادلوا و لا تجلسوا و لا تحسسوا و لا تناجشوا و كونوا عباد الله إخوانًا) رواه مسلم
Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Allah's massenger (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Don't nurse malice against one another, don't nurse aversion against one another, don't be inquisitive about one another, and don't outbid one another (with a view to raising the price), and be fellow brothers and servants of Allah. Narrated by Muslim
وَالَّذِينَ يُمَسِّكُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ ﴿١٧٠﴾ الأعراف
But those who hold fast to the Book and establish prayer - indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of the reformers. (170) Al-A'araf
عن أبى قتادة الأنصاري رضى الله عنه أن
رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن
صوم يوم عرفة، قال: يكفر السنة الماضية
و الباقية، و سئل عن صيام يوم عاشوراء،
قال يكفر السنة الماضية) رواه مسلم
Abu Qatadahh Al-Ansari (RAA) narrated: the
messenger of Allah was asked about fasting
on the day of Arafa fasting on the day of Arafa is
an expiation for the preceding year and the
following year, he was also asked about fasting
on the day of Ashura, he replied: fasting
on the day of Ashura is an expiation for the
preceding year) narrated by Muslim
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَة، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ اَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَ سُئِلَ عَنْ صِيَامِ عَاشُورَاء قال: (مَا عَلِمْتُ النَّبِى صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ و سَلَّمَ صَامَ يَوْمًا يَتَحَرَّى فَضْلَهُ عَلَى الْأَيَّامِ إِلَّا هَذَا الْيَوْمَ؛ يَعْنِى شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ وَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ). سنن النسائي
It was narrated from Ubaidullah that:
He heard Ibn Abbas when he was asked about the fast of "Ashura" said: (I don't know that the prophet fasted any day because of its virtue except this day; meaning the month of Ramadan and the day of Ashura).
