Hi! I don't know if you remember, but about 20 years ago you were a cook for the Owyhee Tough Sucker ride (I think that's the one) and might remember having a little kid follow you around? You taught me a rosemary and garlic pork tenderloin recipe and gave me a pep talk about bullies - between you and the farrier who showed me a bunch, too, that weekend was pretty darn special for little me. Thought I'd shoot you a quick message about it and say thank you so much, since I'm pretty sure I didn't at the time. So thanks for humoring me back then and making that weekend so special.

The world has lost a great man and advocate. Father Al audette passed yesterday after a story book life. He was a Viet Nam fighter pilot, husband, Father ,priest , author , psychologist, world traveler friend and gentle soul. He had boundless energy, kindness, curiosity and lived life to its fullest without fear or boundaries. He was the smartest human I will ever meet. I had the pleasure and honor to get to share two trips to Africa with him. One of my greatest life memories was to be present in a hot air balloon while he did mass over the Serengeti at sunrise. Rest in peace now my friend. You will be missed but always with a smile.

I wanted to take a moment and commend the local 4h and FFA Members and leaders.

We are still getting thank you notes from the members who sold livestock at the fair. Many of them have sent hand written cards and letters. They are appreciated!

If we are able we will buy an animal at the sale next year. Special thanks to Brandi Griffin and the board who have allowed us to participate for the past few years. THANK YOU!

We still have good bookings for the next month or so and are looking for customer service specialist, cooks and cleaners. Lots of fun events to come yet!

We have lots of bookings left for the season and can use experienced cooks, customer service specialists and cleaners now! Tips have averaged 3.00-5.00 per hour this season in addition to hourly rate.

New food truck from Potlatch, Idaho! Excellent menu and awesome service! Dinner serving until 6! Salmon, burgers, ribs, and brisket!

Today we are at WINCO. We have a fresh batch of freshly smoked St. Louis Style ribs.

August 5th — private event at PCEI, Moscow, ID. Serving our slow smoked prime angus brisket.

August 6h — We hope to be back at WINCO!

August 7th — Rivaura Winery Concert Series. Great wine, great music, and our full menu. From noon until 9pm.
