heartbreak:

A heart once full, now broken lies
Shattered dreams, tears in my eyes
Love turned to pain, a sorrow so deep
A grief that gnaws, a heart that weeps

Memories linger, a bittersweet refrain
Longing and loss, a piercing strain
The ache of what's lost, a hollowness inside
A heart that yearns, but cannot hide

Time once stood still, in love's sweet embrace
Now it moves on, leaving only space
To pick up the pieces, to mend and to heal
To learn to love again, to heartbreak's reveal

But for now, I'll hold on to the pain
And cherish the love that will never remain.
