Athenry

Athenry is a group of American expatriots playing traditional Celtic music in Naples, Italy.

Band members are Craig Linderman (vocals, recorder, bodhran), Rich "Pipper" Byrnes (guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals), Rebecca Wayland (vocals, keyboard, banjo) and Heather Gaffney-Hsu (vocals) . The band takes its name from the town of the same name in Galway County, Ireland, best known by virtue of the song, "Fields of Athenry". While open to any venue of opportunity, Athenry is best enjoyed in it's native environment at O'Rhy's Pub on the NSA Naples Support Site.
