Honoring our Honors! Last Friday, Stautzenberger College - Maumee hosted an Honors Award Ceremony for a couple dozen students in recognition of achieving Honors and High Honors in their academic studies. We are proud of our student's hard work and dedication to their educational and career goals.

Maumee Campus: Busy bees! Yesterday, Veterinary Tech students were presented with an enclosed honeybee hive, brought in by Michael Horst, Stautzenberger Maumee HVAC program chair and avid apiarist.

The classroom presentation discussed the importance of honeybees and how this is an insect that the USDA had added to their overseeing feed directives. Veterinary professionals are included in this USDA initiative as honey is in our human food chain.

This was an exciting presentation, and we would like to thank Michael Horst and Dr. Brandy Grisier for arranging this!

🎉🎆🌟 Hey there, Stautzenberger College fam! What a blast we had at our Independence Day Celebration on Campus today! 🇺🇸✨ We just had to share all the awesome moments with you! Here's a quick recap:

First off, the Maumee Campus was decked out in patriotic glory! 🎇🏫 The walkway was lined with flags and solar-powered flag lights, setting the perfect festive mood. 🇺🇸🌞 And as if that wasn't enough, the lobby was transformed into a balloon wonderland that everyone had to walk through to enter! 🎈🎈

We wanted our faculty and staff to join in on the fun too! So we declared it a casual clothing day, with a fabulous Red, White, and Blue theme! 🎊👕👖 It was such a treat to see everyone rocking their patriotic outfits and spreading those good vibes throughout the campus! 🥳🙌

Now, let's talk food, because what's a celebration without some tasty treats? 🌭🍔 Our amazing grill team (shoutout to our fantastic faculty and staff!) fired up the grill and treated everyone to a sizzling hot dog cookout! 🍗🍔🔥

But wait, there's more! We also had an exciting raffle for our awesome students in attendance today. 🎟️🎁 And guess what? The lucky winners were revealed! Congratulations to our MA student and PN student who won! 🎉💰 Good things happen when we come together and celebrate as a community.

We were joined by our dedicated Practical Nursing students, Vet Tech students, Medical Assistant students and Surg Tech students, whose dedication and precision are truly admirable. ⚕️🖤

🎓 We also showcased our College Resources, where attendees explored over 20 programs tailored to kickstart their educational journey and shape their future. to the unforgettable time we had recently at Bark in the Park! 🐾✨ Our Vet Tech staff and students were overjoyed to be part of this incredible community event and support the Toledo Human Society's vital cause. The event took place at The Shops at Fallen Timbers from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and it was an absolute blast!

The atmosphere was electrifying as participants enjoyed live entertainment, indulged in delicious food, and engaged in games designed for the little ones. Bark in the Park was truly a celebration of love and compassion for our four-legged companions. 🎶🍔🍹

The main focus of the event was supporting Toledo Humane Society in their mission to raise $110,000 this year. Every dollar raised will directly benefit the thousands of displaced, abused, and neglected animals seeking shelter at THS.

Looking back on the event, we are immensely grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact and connect with fellow animal lovers. Together, we can continue spreading awareness and love for our furry friends. 📸❤️🐾
