Yesterday the 10th January 2022 an inmate had been killed by the prison officials. It is believed that him and his gang mates stabed an official.

On the early hours of the morning at middledrift correction on 13th November 2020 ,a member was stabed by the offender. Few minutes later the members stormed in,in their numbers biting up everyone.there was blood everywhere.
Yesterday the 1of July,at Middledrift prison it was announced that inmates must do what ever they can do, to help or assist them against this pandemic.as there is nothing government can do for them. Up until this stage ,there is no social distance no Musk's no sanitizers.
It's business as usual.

An inmate was killed and a prison guard injured during a violent scuffle at St Albans Prison Correctional Centre in the Eastern Cape.
Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo on Sunday said the prison official is being stabilised in hospital.
Nxumalo said the incident took place on Sunday morning.
"The inmate who initiated the attack has unfortunately passed on following a scuffle with officials. The crime scene has been cordoned off in order to give space to the SAPS to gather evidence and conduct its own investigation. This is an unfortunate incident for the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) as a few months back DCS had to deploy the National Task Team to St Albans in order to stabilise operations at this centre," he said.
02:15 am today EST together with NTT had stormed in at St Albans maximum center unexpectedly ,taking number of inmates to other provinces around SA. Without them knowing or their families.
It is only now at 12:29am that the st Albans prison finishing serving supper, they finished serving breakfast at 16:00pm,
St Albans prison is still under lock Down following the stabbing of 3 members by inmates. It very sad that members have to come to work under these conditions of not knowing if they will go back home.

NTT ,DCS National Task Team was chased away at St Albans Maximum security at the most controversial Section (B Kamp) by inmates after being not happy with the way the NTT do things.
