My WHY...
.why did I decide to become a coach in the first place?

Firstly for my daughter. It no longer became acceptable to me to be away from her for 5 days of every week. I missed out on so much. I remember a particularly sad moment the first time I got to do a rare school drop off. Her teacher, upon meeting me for the first time, told me my daughter would sometimes get tearful at school because she missed me so much. I knew I needed to make a change before I not only missed her growing up but lost out on our bond.

Secondly, after a particularly toxic workplace experience, I was struggling with confidence and self esteem. I had lost faith in my own abilities at work and was paranoid and anxious. Luckily I was given a coach and my whole outlook changed within a few months. What a gift. I realised I wanted to be able to do that for others.

My story

Hello, I’m Natalie Wood and I am a Coach who is passionate about helping people gain self-belief and achieve their next level of personal development.

Until recently I had what appeared to be a great life. I had a good job in fashion, a social life in London and a generous salary which allowed me to take my husband and daughter on some amazing holidays.

However appearances can be deceptive. The stress of my job was making me ill; I had stomach problems and suffered on and off with depression and anxiety for years. I hardly saw my little girl and felt unfulfilled by my work.

That’s when I decided to quit my job and become a coach. I have been lucky enough to have some amazing coaches that inspired me to reach for more than I had thought possible. I now want to do the same for others.
