Matt Jensen for County Commissioner District 5

Matt Jensen for County Commissioner District 5

Born and raised in Delta County, I served our country for 23 years in the US Army. Now as a retired U.S. I am very active in our community.

Army veteran and small business owner, I want to serve the people of District 5. I’m currently the president of the Delta Astronomical Society, the secretary for the UP Military Museum, a member of the Bay de Noc Lions Club, and a member of the Delta County search and rescue, ice rescue and rescue task force.

During the recall I stated one of the first things I would do was to form the Veteran’s Advisory Committee. That was completed right away.

Re-elect Matt Jensen August 6th.

Proven results !

Our board's communication is excellent. Thanks to a cutoff date for agenda items and supporting documents, Commissioners have ample time for review and research. While unexpected issues may arise, they are the exception, not the norm, unlike with the previous board.

All the county employees I’ve talked to have been about what help do you need and how could I help you?

Remember it’s the current three commissioners that have fired one employee. Then created a hostile work environment for another till they quit.

Look at the facts! This is the same group that accused the threat they received on the Ethical Leadership group. We know that was not the case either.

The citizens of this county actually deserve the change they want. They are tired of seeing their board on the front page of the paper yet again doing something negative.

Be that change !

Vote Matthew Jensen on May 7th

When a leader tells you they are hands on. The people working for you hear micromanagement.

Micromanagement is a leadership FAILURE !

VOTE May 7th for a proven experienced leader.
