Oh Happy Day! Lots of new friends are starting to arrive since I have added my bird feeders to my deck. Something so small can bring such joy!

Can you believe how close Christmas is?

I am excited but also anxious as I try to hurry and get everything done, which worry does nothing for and it always gets done! 😉

Today I am sharing my Angel Tree.

I call it that because I decorate it in ALL angels! I LOVE angels. YES, I do believe in them but of course, to each his own.

They represent for me a higher spirit of love and hope.

They also represent those in my family who have gone and are no longer with me.

Either way, the tree is "angelic". YES, pun intended!!

Some of these angels are mine but some of them are my brother-in-laws late mother. I was BLESSED with some of her beautiful treasures by him because he knew I would embrace them and let them shine like she would.

What an absolute honor!

The angel wings are in remembrance of my son, Jacob, who I lost when I was six months pregnant. It was quite the ordeal of hurt and sadness but these wings make me smile!

Themed trees are a perfect way to be creative and make your Christmas even more magical.

During this crazy and precious time, don't forget to breathe!! Love and God bless!!

This Tinsel Tree is one of my favorites this year!

BE SURE TO LOOK through all the photos I posted because I found some very old photos of the past where Tinsel was a Big deal!! Kind of fun to see the days that have come and gone!!

Friends, this tree was from Goodwill years back and it looks like you just walked out of the forest with it!

Long story short, if I am even capable of doing that, I wanted tinsel for my tree like my mom use to do. I found some at Hobby Lobby and it came in the color RED!! I loved it!

Problem was, I didn't like it on any of my trees until I put it on this one and it just fit so wonderfully.

With the skate in the background, it just gives that old fashioned vibe that we sometimes long for.

Just pure and simple were the days. I really do miss them!

I have been so busy creating our first Christmas in our new home and I wanted to share ALL my trees.

I am starting with two that are in my home office.

This room is a loft so it can be anything you really want it to be.

I made it a home office/tv room.

Two of the trees you will see here are a winter/snow themed and a smaller tree looking all cute in candy cane stripes. Both trees accent each other well and I bought all decorations at a cheap price. Some of the decorations were things I already had and used creatively as a tree decoration. THOSE are the BEST!!

You can do what you want people and you owe no one an explanation!! ;)

It is the month of Thanksgiving and although we should always be grateful, this month really focuses on it. 🤎

I know many of you like to welcome Christmas on November 1st and I get that. The spirit of this season is so exciting!! 🎄

I celebrate and savor the continued season of Fall and of Thanksgiving. I do this while indulging in little pieces of Christmas. 🎅🏻

This year where everything is a first in our new home, I am going to decorate my front room for the early Christmas birds and keep our family room and kitchen decorated for the current season and holiday. 🤎🍁

I can’t wait to share Christmas decor to warm your hearts. I am SO GRATEFUL for all of you who join me on this page. I feel like we are friends that share the joy of family, faith, traditions and decor!!!🥰🙏

So I figured since it is kind of a black cat crossing your path kind of day, I would share some of my spooky side!! I am much less spooky than I use to be so don't fear!! 🤣

I have a fun and tiny bit of spook in my main living room. I decorated this room for Halloween. I thought today I would share how you can have Halloween fun without making it brutally dark.

I know not everyone likes Halloween and I completely respect that so this will not be for everyone. For those who do like it though, enjoy!!

This shelf came from Goodwill and was a new addition this year. I love the idea that I can continue to add decor for all the beautiful times of life.

The picture which is from The Nightmare Before Christmas was a wedding gift for my husband and I. We had a Christmas wedding and we both LOVE Halloween so it was a perfect gift!!

The candle is from a local country store and has a very vintage look as does the holder it is in. I love that look for all times. Gives me that vibe of days gone by.

I think the Home Sweet Haunted Home completes the look with its glorious Halloween colors. Found that at The Dollar Tree. I also have a vintage basket sitting next to it but that didn't make it in to the picture!! haha

It is all about figuring out what you love to surround you on a daily basis and filling your home with those items to make the days happier and brighter!!

I jump on the chance because it is the place where my family and friends will enter. I want the warmth of the seasons to be expressed in all rooms of my home.

Rather you like to decorate with gentle touches or over the top, don't forget to show some love in the bathroom!!

"FALL is proof that change is BEAUTIFUL".

A girl gets home from a long day at work. She longs for a change of her favorite comfy clothes which instantly helps her to escape from the work world. She grabs her dinner which tonight is a delicious plate of comfort food. She plops in her favorite chair and turns on her favorite mental escape show.

She takes a deep sigh of relaxation.

As wonderful as this all makes her feel, it is nothing compared to the cozy corner view she gets to look at.

You see, Fall is right around the corner and she has already started to dive into the magical transformation this brings. Pumpkins, leaves, scarecrows, hot cider and the overall feeling that the best time of the year is happening.

Now this story is one that we can all relate to and you can certainly feel free to fill in your blanks. I love nights like these though and I go to great lengths to appreciate this magical time God has blessed me with.

I do not take it for granted and I fill my heart with gratitude that he loves me so much to touch my life with the smell of bonfires, leaves turning their beautiful warm colors and falling so gently to the ground, mornings with a fresh colder crispness making the air feel new and this time that opens the way for all the holidays to soon shine.

After moving into a new home in May, I was not sure if I would be able to create a fun Halloween room like I did in my old house. Little faith in myself as I believe it is coming along pretty nicely!

I can't wait to share each creation and then the final reveal.

Sharing some darker, cozier vibes in my living room this morning.

Although it is going to feel like 110 degrees today, I am currently snuggled up under a blanket watching decor videos! 😂

This quiet time with God is a treasure. I LOVE storms and being cozy. Lots of flameless candles and lanterns create a safe and relaxing vibe as I wait out the storm. ☔️

Hard to believe it is upon us already.

Kids will be heading back to school and the holidays will be joining us soon.

August is a great time to decorate with all things sunflowers. I always think of it as the end of summer beginning of Fall flower. It screams sunshine and brightness.

The sunflower symbolizes FAITH and ADORATION. It is often regarded as a spiritual flower. They are a symbol of true faith and loyalty to something that is much bigger and brighter than themselves.

As we begin a precious new month, let's fully bloom into a decorating season of all things sunflowers, or whatever flower that brightens your heart!

Sharing a cute piece in my home today, that I wonder if many of you have stored in a basement, attic or garage. You should get that piece out because it is a true treasure.

I am talking about the sled!

I love my sled and usually display it on my porch but I can't really enjoy it out there so this year I brought it in and put it right next to the front door in a boring corner. This way I pass it several times a day and it bring lots of joy!!🥰

You will see in these pictures that I had lots of fun gathering things to decorate it with. I have seen ones that are simply decorated and they look awesome!!

If you are looking for a winter piece to create happiness, coziness and warmth in your home until spring comes, this is a perfect addition.

We just got back from seeing the movie MEGAN which was not really scary but pretty creepy!! 👻

Now we are watching playoff games and just enjoying a peaceful time before the week begins again.

This is a small wall in my house right before you enter the laundry room that is one of my favorite combinations.

I enjoy the soothing look of neutral colors and the mixture of life on the ranch as well as the old timey clock!! lol

I really enjoy mixing and matching. I have a feeling I probably was one of those annoying kids who mixed my playdough colors!!😁
