One of New Zealand's most cheeky mountain birds - the Kea. Easily viewed crossing the Southern Alps by car at view stops. They love to annoy the passers through by picking at rubber car attachments. This one was at the wildlife center in Christchurch.

Some photos from my October 2017 dancing trip to New Zealand
We are getting close to our "Deep South" dancing trip to New Zealand. This tour takes in and overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound Fiord in a very remote part of NZ and we are looking forward to a farm stay in one of Southland's beautiful remote National Parks - The Catlin's with 600 ft cliffs overlooking the wild Pacific, waterfalls, wetland walks and seals to watch. We will be dancing with our new friends in Christchurch, Dunedin & Invercargll. Can't wait!
