Puppy party for Maeve featuring one cheeky pooch 🐶 inside was chocolate mud cake finished in an ombré Swiss meringue buttercream and topped off with a dark chocolate drip 🍰👩‍🍳

I’m not going to lie, when Sarah sent through the inspiration for her Gatsby-themed combined 30th celebration, I was a little terrified! For the bottom tier I considered stencils, edible images or an acrylic fropper, but in the end, hand-cutting was the only option that was going to provide the look we wanted to achieve. Each piece of the pattern had to be hand painted (4 times!!!) to achieve an even gold finish, but in the end, I think it paid off 😍🌟 Bottom tier: cookies and cream butter cake, top tier: caramel butter cake filled with dulce de leche

“Nova loved it and it tasted great” It’s always so nice to hear positive feedback after customers have actually tasted their cake (after all, I believe that taste is the most important part 🍰) Vanilla butter cake finished in Swiss meringue buttercream, all decorations were handmade using fondant 🐷🐮🐓🐑

It was such a pleasure to make this for to celebrate their first year of being open 🎉 flavour was chai tea sponge filled with black tea buttercream (inspired by the office beverage of choice) 🤤
