I had the opportunity to witness a Flag Retirement Ceremony by Negaunee Boy Scout Troop BSA 346 today.

It was a moving service and they showed great respect to the three flags and honored the Veterans.

I have the great honor of knowing many veterans and send good energy for health and healing.

We were honored to hold a Flag Retirement Ceremony today at the Richmond Township Community Club. Our scouts took on the duty of retiring three flags with dignity and respect.

We were able to honor veterans, respect the retiring of flags, and play TAPS to create a special Veterans Day memory for our Troop and community members.

We hope everyone has the opportunity to honor our Veterans today.

Michigan's Mitten Kitten Roller Derby Tournament starts tomorrow and skaters, officials, volunteers, and fans are gearing up for a weekend of hard-hitting derby action.
