By submitting this form, I declare and confirm that I have read and will abide by all terms and conditions of the "Contest" which is part of the overall poll and overall initiative. IBM India Private Limited ("IBM") is conducting a social media initiative and campaign called "Share your thoughts. Shape the future" where you can share your views and opinions about work and work place. The duration of this campaign will be from 29th Aug 2011 to 11th Sep 2011. The campaign shall comprise a "Contest" which is open only to participants who are between the ages of 21 and 30. IBM may, at its sole discretion, require proof of age.
2. The criteria for awarding prizes shall be at the sole discretion of IBM, and shall be based on various factors such as quality and relevance of contributions. IBM is under no obligation to disclose the criteria for awarding prizes, and may at its sole discretion substitute the prizes that have been announced with for other prizes that IBM deems are equivalent.
3. Participants in the initiative and contest (which is intrinsic to the initiative) are required to provide information about themselves such as their name, age, valid current address, existing telephone/mobile phone number, and email address in order to register themselves for the contest. . By participating in the initiative and contest and providing such information, participants expressly provide their consent to submitting such information to IBM, and expressly permit IBM to use such information (including to contact participants) in IBM's marketing and social media initiatives.
4. By participating in the initiative and contest, participants agree to be bound by all applicable terms and conditions. Such terms and conditions may be modified or otherwise changed by IBM at its sole discretion.
5. All Contestants hereby grant to IBM all right (including a perpetual, royalty-free license) to copy, modify and otherwise use and distribute their contributions and submissions in any or all media and in any publication or journal, including in academic or industry articles.
6. IBM reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Contest at any stage without any assigning any reason whatsoever.
7. Participants must not, through their submissions, contributions or other actions, do any of the following: (a) violate the terms of service of the applicable social network that they use to participate in the Contest (b) do any other actions that do not meet the objectives of the Contest, (c) disparage or make any libellous statements against IBM, IBM's employees, this Contest or any similar initiatives by IBM, any individuals or entities involved in such initiatives, and any entities and individuals that the participants are associated with (d) violate any trademarks of IBM or any other entities or (e) any actions that are otherwise inappropriate. IBM may, at its sole discretion, remove any content that it believes falls within any of these categories. IBM's decision in this respect shall be final.
8. Participants must only make submissions and contributions in their personal capacity, and not as representatives of any entity (including the participant's current or any previous employer, educational institution, or any other entity). Participants must not disclose any confidential or proprietary information of any entity, including the identity or any other information related to their current or previous employer(s).
9. Participants must follow all applicable laws, as well as all applicable terms and conditions of the social networks that they use to participate in the Contest.
10. IBM shall have no liability with respect to the contest, including any liability with respect to submissions, contributions or prizes. Participants must indemnify IBM from any loss or damage suffered by IBM that is attributable to acts or omissions of that participant.
11. Participants agree and acknowledge that this contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, and agree and acknowledge that they are providing information to IBM and its agents and not to Facebook. Participants release Facebook from and against any liability arising out of their participation in this contest.
