Change it Forward Tanzania www.changeitforwardtanzania.org to attend college in Iowa. They started a school in a place that used to be abandoned buildings.
Our name reflects the story of Evaristo, a young man from Tanzania who was sponsored by a family in the U.S. He wanted to thank the people who sponsored him, and felt that the best way to do this would be to make this opportunity possible for more people like himself. A HUGE Thank You to all of those that came out to support Change it Forward Tanzania. Our goal was to raise money to build a water system at the school so every building would have clean, running, accessible water. We are proud to announce we have exceeded our goal and we WILL be bringing running water into our campus. Absolutely AMAZING! On behalf of the Board of Change it Forward-Tanzania, THANK YOU!! Our supporters helped raise money to build teacher housing for 4 families. Here is the result! We appreciate every bit of support large or small. Every person can make a difference in making Magulilwa Secondary School a great school. On our recent trip to Tanzania this past summer, we were able to witness the amazing work of the school, the teachers, and each student. SAVE THE DATE: April 27th, 2019 we will be gathering together to learn more and make a bigger difference in the lives of children.....
