Tonight's 83rd Anniversary Walk was the first of seven Blitz edition Walks. Huge thank you to all who attended thisevening, all bar 3 the first time with us. Thank you to the gent who shared his story of his Grandad who survived the bombing raids living then at 11 The Crescent which witnessed loss of life after the bombing of the Westminster Hotel.

As I write this, going back to 1941, the City was in flames, sirens still wailing with further Luftwaffe bombers enroute to drop their payloads.

Tomorrow we return for the second installment with a totally sold out walkApril's dates are now open for bookings.

Missed Education

Uncovered by Contractors in 2011, on the site of Plymouth University. One of the better preserved shelters that could have become an educational resource with the then Plymouth Museum directly across the road. A lack of vision to incorporate this into the new building now sited above means this is now buried and sealed for future generations. Thankfully it wasn't fully demolished.
