Gianluigi Buffon will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract expires, the club have confirmed.

The Italian goalkeeper joined the French giants last year on a free transfer from Juventus, signing a one-year contract.

The 41-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions as Thomas Tuchel's team won Ligue 1 but were beaten in the Coupe de France final and knocked out of the Champions League and Coupe de la Ligue early.

And it has now been announced that Buffon's contract will not be extended and he has played his last game for the club.

"Following joint discussions, Paris Saint-Germain and Gianluigi Buffon have agreed to not renew the legendary goalkeeper's contract which expires on 30 June 2019," a statement on the club's website read.

*Sevilla Confirm👍 Lopetegui👔 Appointment*

Sevilla have announced the appointment of Julen Lopetegui as their new coach.

The former Spain and Real Madrid boss joins the club on a three year deal. Lopetegui has been out of work since he was sacked by Real Madrid last October after just 10 league matches in charge of the club.

He takes over from Joaquín Caparrós who was diaognosed with chronic leukemia . He is expected to take a directorial role at the club.

*Reports📰 Neymar Accused of Rape😱*

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr has been accused of r**e, in an incident said to have taken place in the French capital.

The events are said to have taken place on 15 May at a hotel in Paris.

The female who came forward with the accusation claims to have met the former Barcelona player through Instagram, in a report revealed by Brazilian media outlet UOL.

It also claims that Neymar arrived in a drunk and aggressive fashion at the hotel where the two met.

Two days after the incident the woman returned to Brazil and did not make her story public until now due to fear for her own safety.

The meeting between the pair took place at the Sofitel Paris Arc Du Triomphe hotel.

Mane Reveals Why He Turned Man Utd Down👎

Sadio Mane has come a long way since joining Liverpool three years ago - but things could have been very different if he had signed for Manchester United.

And while that may sound like a Liverpool fan’s horror story, it wasn’t far from coming true.

Ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final with Tottenham, the 27-year-old admitted that he came close to signing for United after his final season with Southampton.

“I was really, really close because I even met up with them,” he told the Mirror.

Real Madrid has officially announced the signing of Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt for a reported fee of €60million.

Jovic was in fine form last season scoring 17 Bundesliga goals and a further 10 in Eintracht's run to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Jovic becomes the second player to join Madrid since Zidane's return, with a €50million move for Porto defender Eder Militao concluded in March.

*🚨 BREAKING: Eden Hazard Leaves Chelsea for Real Madrid in Move Worth up to 💰 £130M*

Real Madrid have signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea on a five-year contract after completing the most expensive transfer ever involving an English club.

Madrid are understood to have struck a deal with Chelsea that could rise to £130million once all bonus payments come into play. The 28-year-old will be officially unveiled on Thursday, June 13, after he has undergone his medical.

As reported by Telegraph Sport on Thursday, negotiations between the clubs had been taking place all week. Real had been reluctant to pay more than £88m for the Belgian, but eventually agreed to a deal that is set to earn Chelsea as much as £130m once all the bonuses have been met.

It is understood the bonuses are easily achievable and Chelsea are extremely confident they will receive the full £130m for the forward, who only had one year left on his contract.

"Real Madrid CF and Chelsea FC have agreed to the transfer of the player Eden Hazard," read Madrid's statement.

*🚨 BREAKING: FIFA Scraps Plans for 48-Team ⚽ World Cup in 2022 in Qatar 🇶🇦*

FIFA has given up on its efforts to expand the 2022 World Cup to 48 teams, football's world governing body announced on Wednesday.

"The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will therefore remain as originally planned with 32 teams and no proposal will be submitted at the next FIFA Congress on 5 June," a FIFA statement read on Thursday.

FIFA had been exploring if logistical and political complexities could be overcome to expand the tournament from 32 to 48 teams, which would have required at least one more country being used in the Persian Gulf to accommodate an additional 16 matches in the region.

A FIFA internal report had already concluded that the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia could not join as co-hosts unless they restore the economic and travel ties with Qatar that were severed two years ago.

That means the World Cup will not be expanded until 2026, with FIFA already having approved a format with 48 teams for that tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Maurizio Sarri hopes Eden Hazard will stay at Chelsea but will respect whatever decision the forward reaches on his future.

Hazard's contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire at the end of next season and he has been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid.

The Belgium international said after Chelsea's final Premier League game of 2018-19 that he had made a decision and informed the club.

However, Chelsea head into next Wednesday's Europa League final against Arsenal with the future of star player Hazard still up in the air.

Asked if the match in Baku could be Hazard's last for the club, Sarri said: "I don't know. As I said in every press conference, I want to respect his decision.

"I hope that he will stay with us, but we need to be ready if he will decide something different. Also if I have spoken with him, I don't want to say anything."

On whether Hazard could make the grade at Madrid, Sarri added: "Hazard is good for every team, of course, but he's really very good for us."

Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded the Serie A Player of the Season award, in his first season in Italy.

Ronaldo led the Turin giants to their eighth straight Scudetto with his 21 goals in the league leading the team.

The timing of the award is unusual as Serie A individual awards have always been given out all at the same time, after the conclusion of the season, but Ronaldo will be recognised before their game against Atalanta on Sunday.
