Rhys Williams has been recalled from his loan spell by his parent club, Liverpool.
The 22-year-old centre-back arrived at Pittodrie back in June but has been unable to break into the Dons’ starting eleven.
We thank Rhys for all his efforts and wish him the very best in his future career.
We would also like to acknowledge Liverpool for their co-operation and professionalism throughout.

Well what a shambles that was. Crazy management from Robson. Completely lost the game for us. No clue at all what he was thinking making those subs when he did.
Did all the hard work and then threw it away. Players on the park looked completely lost as to where they should be playing and what they should be doing. 2-0 up against a team of that quality on Europe you can't go thinking you've won it at that stage in the game. By the subs he made it looked like that's what he thought.

Aberdeen Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Frank McDougall this morning.
Frank was an AFC legend, as during his two seasons for the Dons, between 1984 and 1986, he scored an incredible 44 goals and won all three domestic medals.
The striker was inducted into the AFC Hall of Fame last year.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at his very sad time. A full tribute to one of our greatest ever players will appear soon.
