Well the rain changed our plans but did not spoil them!!
The Kiwanis Club of Galva is so thankful for Galva Elementary School and Officer Brown.
Officer Brown led bicycle safety classes for K-6th grade. Kiwanis provided a bike safety coloring book and crayons to the young kids and spoke reflectors for the older kids.
The club was then able to help serve hotdogs to the students and a chef salad bar for the teachers and staff.
Great day to show our appreciation for all our teachers, staff, Principal and Officer do for us.
This morning at Special Kneads Bakery: Squash plants just waiting to be taken home and planted in your garden! Also Spanish Flag, a climbing vine that will produce an abundance of orange-red and cream colored flowers. Needs a tells or fence and sun; it’s an annual.
These plants will be at the bakery all day today; then back at my house for Friday since there appears to be more storms on tap; but back at the bakery on Saturday. Come rescue these lovely plants and give them a home!
