Tonight's the night! Come cheer our St. Anne Pinto team on as they play Game 1 of the World Series!

Don’t forget to come out tomorrow night to support our St. Anne pinto team at their game at 6pm on the big field at the park!

Come on out and show your St. Anne pride THIS Friday!! Our kids and coaches have worked so hard!

The SAYAG would like to give a shout out to SAGS for allowing us to use the school due to the weather today! Also thank you to our SAYAG families for coming out for today’s activities. We hope everyone had a blast! We could not do any of this without your support! **Update to Pinto Game**

Tonight's 6:00 pm Mustang game versus Momence has been rescheduled to tomorrow (May 15) at 6:00 pm. The 8:00 pm Pony game versus Aroma Park has also been canceled and will be rescheduled to a later date. Both games will still be played in St. Anne.

Tonight's Pinto game has also now been canceled. Once a reschedule date is confirmed that information will be shared.

Due to field conditions and the weather the teeball game for this evening is canceled. We are working to reschedule canceled games and will provide an update to all coaches once the schedule has been updated.

Hello SAYAG Families,

We hope you are all enjoying your spring break! With baseball season starting we wanted to provide you all with some reminders.

Practices -
Each team’s practice schedule will be set by their coach based on their availability and field availability. Please keep in mind our coaches are all volunteers who also have obligations outside of baseball.

Games -
Complete game schedules will be coming out for baseball after April 7. Teeball game schedules will come out around April 15.

Equipment -
Baseball - The league provides jerseys and hats. Each player is required to provide their own helmet, glove, bat, black pants,cleats, and boys must wear cups. Socks/belts are a team choice so please check with your coach on this.

Teeball - The league provides jerseys and hats. At the teeball level we also provide helmets and bats. Keep in mind the helmets/bats are “shared” and you are more than welcome to purchase your own if you would like. Black pants and tennis shoes are also needed. Cleats are not required for teeball but we ask that you not send children to practice or games in crocs or sandals/flip flops for safety reasons.

Birth Certificates -
We are required to have a copy of each player's birth certificate on file. If we do not have your child’s birth certificate on file already you will be receiving an email or text this week asking for it. In order for them to receive their uniform their birth certificate will need to be turned in.

Communication/GroupMe -
All coaches will be using the GroupMe app to communicate with their teams this year. All parents have been added to the GroupMe for their team at this time. If you need to add additional parents to the chats and need help doing so then please let us know.

Important Dates -

March 28 - Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraiser Pick Up
4:00-6:30 pm at St. Anne Parish Hall - All orders need to be picked up at this time



April 13 - Field Clean Up
All coaches and players along with their families are expected to attend field clean up day. This is not considered a volunteer opportunity.

April 20 - Baseball Opening Day
This is the official first day of games for our league. We generally play this day but will not have game details until the schedules come out after April 7.

June 1 - Picture/Family Fun Day
We will begin this day with our parade followed by individual and team pictures. Bounce houses, food trucks, and other kid friendly activities such as parents vs kids games will start after pictures. We would love to see our families join us for a fun filled afternoon to reward our players and families for a successful season. Additional information will be provided closer to the date.

Volunteer Opportunities -
Once the home game schedule has been finalized we will share the volunteer sign up schedule. We will post on Facebook and in the GroupMe chats when it is available. Shifts are filled on a first come, first serve basis and there is a limited number of slots for each game.
