Nate Roberts been in radio broadcasting for the past 15 years. In 2010, he received an award from the Illinois Broadcasting Association's Silver Dome Awards for 3rd Place of Best Aircheck/On- Air Announcer. He started out learning the basics of broadcasting, production, announcing, and editing at Parkland College from 2006 to 2008. Worked at WEIU-FM from 2009-2011 as an assistant Program Director,
On-Air Announcer, Producer and Host of the local music show "Illinoise." Currently, at WEFT-FM for the past 3 years as On-Air Announcer, Music Genre Director, and host of the weekly Rock show "Shake Some Action." He loves Cliff Richard and the Shadows and his goal is to collect as much as he possibly can on Vinyl and CDs to produce a fabulous weekly two-hour programme of "Wired For Sound" filled with great tunes and all-time favourites. Since 2019, a rockin 1 hour show of "Move It" continues on with great tunes from Cliff Richard and the Shadows plus several artists from the golden era of Rock and Roll.
