The winter solstice always feels like a call to get back into that quiet space where I get to dive deep and just listen. A time to feel and write a new batch of songs for the new horizon. Feels like home. ☕️📝

Some of you remember the big mess that happened in September where a festival cancelled and tried to blame me for their cancellation after I bowed out of the festival stating that I felt uncomfortable?

And you may remember that those people tried to start a smear campaign against me? You may also remember that A LOT of people joined in on said campaign to stomp me, the noisy female, out. You may also remember that a lot of people stayed silent.

Well, I attempted to take a restraining order out against them and later found out that they were ALREADY in a legal conundrum with another female who was also made to *feel uncomfortable*.

Ladies, FOLLOW YOUR GUT. I am so thankful that my gut was screaming at me to get out of that situation. You are your only advocate.

Stop promoting r**e culture with your actions and INACTION.

Just wanted to send out a big fat THANK YOU to everyone in my whole life who have helped me walk this far. It feels good to be settling into the Asheville community (officially), making music with cool peeps and expanding into my fullest self.

Entering the always difficult holiday season with a full heart of gratitude (seriously…not just saying it to be cute), taking things slow and trying to focus on self-love. It sounds gross when I type it but drinking extra water and doing yoga every now and again can make you feel like a million bucks. In case you needed to hear it, here’s your reminder to be nice to yourself today. ILY.

5 years. Grateful for her every day. The ache is still around but I am very aware of how lucky I am to have had a mother like her in my life. 😘

I got a new phone. I can’t remember any of my passwords and I’m the worst about having long convos and forgetting to save the contact. It’s gonna be a week. Here’s my bare face in all of its road worn glory. I love it.

I feel a gentle tug to remind myself and anyone reading this that only a few years ago, I was at my total rock bottom. Death, grief, depression, 2020, you name it. I am now in a very good place, feeling grounded, feeling secure, feeling loved, loving. I’m so glad that I kept going. Things got better. Keep going.

Aging is a gift. Time is a treasure that not everyone receives. If you’re reading this, you are blessed. ILY!

What started as a need to create a space for women to connect, flourished into something much bigger and much more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was such an honor to host 50 women in the woods for a weekend of radical rest. I am humbled. I can’t wait for next year and it’s only been 5 days since the last one.

I threw my first retreat/mini fest this weekend and this is what I looked like most of the time. 😂. It was a huge success and will definitely be happening annually. Thank you all for coming out! I will be posting lots and lots about it soon. For now, SLEEP! YOU GO GIRL!!!

Last weekend, I got to play with a band, MY band, that consisted of three women and three men. It was a big life moment for me that is hard to put in writing but it just felt really good.

This weekend, I will host my first ever retreat for women, named after my latest album, Realign.

Soon, I will begin building a sustainable, regenerative farm in the mountains.

Every day is a beautiful gift and an opportunity to create anything you can put your mind to. Yes, there will be many obstacles. You can do it. ILY.

Ramble Fest in Darlington, MD was a really special one, this weekend. It was such an honor to be on the lineup with so many incredible bands. The best part of playing festivals, for the musicians, is getting to reconnect with our music family! If you haven’t checked out The Sweet Lillies or Natalie Brooke yet, do yourself a favor and DO IT!

It has been absolutely stunning to see the outpouring of generosity in regards to my upcoming retreat Oct 20-22.

I’d like to take a moment to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to out of Wilmington, NC, for these darling, handmade, stained glass peace doves.
