What is considered to be a comfortable living wage. I believe train drivers get over £50k a year which is a about one thousand pounds a week, doctors who are talking about striking are on quite a lot more. I wish I was on that kind of money. What I would would like to know is what all these strikers actually earn.

The current situation with the railways is an excellent reason for driverless trains, starting with the underground city trains. It works very well in Japan, it could be done here. I do not agree with the rail companies doing away with booking offices, porters and other personell and railways should be back in public ownership run by railway people with no input at all from politicians.

Why can big business run companies at a vast profit when governments of all parties cannot, can someone explain this.

So the Ukrainian children in Wales are being taught Welsh, admirable yes, but what a total waste of resources, when they return home it will be useless. Far better to teach them English, French or Spanish which will be useful for them in the future. In every continent someone speaks English or French or Spanish, no-one speaks or understands Welsh except in a very small area of South America and they have to speak Spanish to get by. My son was refused a hire car in Columbia only because his driving licence had some Welsh writing on it.

Why do the union leaders not talk to their members with the offers, they might be happy to accept the offers. Why!!, because it is all political, spurred on by Keir Starmer and co., in an attempt to return to power which would be the very worst outcome. The present government is not very good, but Starmer and Co. would be much worse.

Is Elon Musk trying to bring facebook down by swamping it will all the trains and cars, most of the cars are too expensive for most of us to afford, I guess.

I had hoped that Facebook had got rid of all the car and train posts.

Do not strikers realise that by striking for more money means their employers have to put their prices up to pay them which in turn means their increase in pay goes to higher prices of goods so they are back to square one. The only people effected are those who cannot negotiate more pay.

Just noticed that on Google Earth the only 2 aircraft shown at Heathrow are the model of the A380 on the entrance roundabout and the preserved Concorde. Why have all the aircraft been erased, there must have been some aircraft there.
