I'm a law trained Native woman raised in my tribal community and I'm running to be a voice for every New Mexican, every child, every elder, and every community from Isleta, Alamo, To'hajiilee, Laguna, Acoma, Grants, San Mateo, Baca, Prewitt, Thoreau, Whitehorse Lake, White Rock, Lake Valley, Pueblo Pintado, and Ojo Encino!

My work and my advocacy for the people have no boundaries. My colleagues can attest to my work ethic and outcome of projects. Thank you, Mr. Royd Lee for your confidence and support for my House District race!

I know how important a quality education is. That's why I've fought for and secured over $90 million in funding to fix and restore our school in To'hajiilee. Today I'm grateful and I'm proud to have the support of and our educators. Our children, schools, and educators matter and in the I will fight for them.

We were on our way to visit with our Grants neighbors today but Interstate 40 was backed up. Instead, we fired up the wood stove in the hogan and got busy making tons of calls to voters and gaining tremendous support! Thank you to my volunteers for helping me reach voters all across District 69.

Congressman Gabe Vasquez was also present as our guest speaker! It was great to meet and hear from the candidates. I certainly appreciate the time and space to talk with the group. One of the greatest things we can give one another is encouragement. Phefelia Nez has been an encouraging mentor since the day I met her. Her love for the people, animals, and land are admirable. She has brought awareness and advocacy for the importance of healthy families, early childhood education, and animal welfare (just to name a few). I am honored to have her official endorsement. MEET & GREET IN LAKE VALLEY, NM

Growing up my grandmother taught me the importance of K’é / clanship. She would remind me that as long as I knew my clans I would find relatives anywhere. Today, I was reminded of her words as we visited Lake Valley and found clan relatives. We had a good time during our meet & greet cookout and enjoyed the conversations about the area, needs, and excitement for new representation. Ahe’hee, Lake Valley family for embracing us and spending the day with us. Thank you to all our volunteers 🙌🏽 who helped today.

Also, on the way home we stopped by Pablo’s Corner in Crownpoint to indulge in some delicious fry bread. Ahe’hee Tyle, Marshlene & Uncle Pablo for the quick visit.

Our visit to Ojo Encino was great! We met community members who expressed excitement about new representation in this race that truly understands the rural lifestyle on Navajo Nation. We also heard from the Ojo Encino Chapter leadership about the successes they’ve had as a Certified Chapter but also the complex jurisdictional challenges they face. Being a law trained professional, I know first hand just how important jurisdiction is when you’re at the table making plans and advocating for resources. The biggest concern was Road 474 and its brutal condition. I can’t believe it’s been ignored for so long! Let’s find a way to get it done, no more excuses. Thanks for the hospitality, Ojo Encino.
