What a great first tasting for in Atlanta! Thanks to for hosting this event, and for the collaboration with . It was nice to see both new and familiar faces! I think David gave a great intro to this winery, the AVA, and just enough wine knowledge to be dangerous at a trivia night!

We made a quick stop in Zamora, Spain, about 50 minutes from the border of Portugal. Beautiful sunset and weather after the scorching heat of Ribera del Duero & Madrid. The last photo is Jaamy in the "J" seat. Totally holding court from the back seat, sandwiched between luggage, and taking calls!

Keeping up with Instagram is a full time job! Picking up where we left off during our trip to España, for winery stop was at Bodegas Comenge, in Ribera del Duero.

4 days in, 2 days late in posting! Spent the second day at a favorite spot, . Yes, we know the locals call it a tourist trap, but when in Rome..... & it's always fun! Very different style of market, of food hall as we see all over the States now. Small stalls each owned independently, offering the variety of foods you see in this post. Olive skewers, smoked tuna belly, percebes, and a cone of fried seafood, all enjoyed with wines from a great little wine bar serving Godello & Tempranillo Blanco. A fun, must visit every time to Madrid! And I have to add, it's hard to post faster than !

The journey has finally begun! We have been looking forward to this trip to España all Summer! Ready to see old friends and make a few new ones! Representing!
