The heavy metal legends of the Danish band MERCYFUL FATE have reunited and announced dates for their first North American tour in more than two decades - plus they're working on new music. Lead singer King Diamond is quoted as saying, “I hereby respectfully invite you to ‘Come to the Sabbath,’ by which you may free your soul and feast with us in the dark of Night. Witches and Demons, you may come as you are! Satanic Regards – King Diamond 666.”

At long last.. Mercyful Fate returns to North America for our first headlining tour in over two decades with special guests Kreator and Midnight.

Happy 54th birthday to Snowy Shaw, a Swedish musician and multi-instrumentalist, who early on in his career as a drummer, and later on guitarist, keyboardist, bassist, drummer again and even a vocalist.

Snowy worked out with many bands and projects such as KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, DREAM EVIL, THERION, DIMMU BORGIR, MEMENTO MORI, NOTRE DAME, # # #, IllWill, with several other bands and more recently with supergroup DENNER/SHERMANN, MAD ARCHITECT and his solo band SNOWY SHAW. Snowy also worked as a live drummer for SABATON, and spent with them more than a year touring the world.
