We hope you all had a great time at the 2022 AES Audio Olympics (epic video compilation to come 👀☠️)!!!!!! One more meeting to wrap up this incredible semester and we have Basia, an SRT alum, coming in person! She’ll be coming to talk about her path since graduating from IC, how she’s made connections, and the work she’s done so far working in NYC. ‼️AND we will be announcing your eBoard for the 2022-2023 school year‼️
This week we have MORE extra special in person guests coming in, Darcy Proper and Ronald Prent. Darcy and Ron run Proper Prent Sound out of Valhalla Studios up in Auburn, NY (our neck of the woods!) They are an iconic Grammy-winning mixing and mastering duo with clients all over the world and work first hand with the ever developing world of immersive audio. They’ll be talking about their experience in the industry and lending their years of experience and expertise to you all so PLEASE COME TO AES THIS WEEK!!!!!!
A HUGE thank you to from Ithaca AES for an amazing presentation on live sound reinforcement for jazz ensembles and for sitting down with our Juniors and Seniors for some mix critiques! It was such a treat to have another in person guest, especially someone with so much incredibly valuable info. See you all next week!
