Good to see another listed building getting the much needed TLC it deserves in the village , our beautiful church that I walk my dog through every morning . So peaceful and now looking like a full restoration is on the horizon speaking to the workers about time brilliant:)

The tubs at the front of the fire station are not looking there best , such a shame to just see weeds growing out of them any ideas how this can be rectified ?, I suppose pulling out the dead flowers would be a start :), who is in charge of them anyone know ?, It would be nice to see them full of flowers that could last up to autumn and winter .

From where I live I have a bird's eye view of the singleton fire station and it's so great to see another random amateur photographer pull up in his car and take a picture of the building , Like I have said many times before it's the landmark of our village . just so good to see people outside of the village appreciating it too .:)

Fantastic to see substantial restoration being done to our lovely singleton fire station , It's the landmark of the village and needs all the TLC it deserves. It's good to see when all the villagers put their heads together we get a result and get things done :)

I've just been appointed secretary for( CLP ) Fylde labour party and in our meeting the other night we wanted to highlight the absolute urgency for essential aid required to go over to help the ongoing crisis in the Ukraine.we are organising charitable donation drop off points within the Fylde one of which is my house .If you feel you want to contribute your bit to help the refugees fleeing the country right now we are collecting basic toiletries ect .. To send. Over to Poland.. .. to support the refugees .please feel free to drop off any essential toiletries for example , soaps ,baby wipes, ladies feminine hygiene sanitary items , toothpaste , toothbrushes ect.... all donations will be greatly appreciated, full details are in Fylde CLP labour page .

The traffic lights under the bridge, going to hardhorn rd poulton appear to be temperamental , please be mindful that they are not changing effectively so slow down and just be careful.

Weather warning!!!!!! Strong winds and snow are anticipated so mind how you go and stay in if at all possible. There is a hurricane building up but fortunately in the Fylde we won't be getting it as bad as other areas in the country , tie down your garden furniture and watch out for falling trees:)

Glad to see the internet is now up and running within singleton village.Bt are running a service compensation scheme .All the information can be found online , you can claim for the duration of time without internet connection .If you download the MY BT app, all the details on how to claim are on it.

emergency !!!!! There is a tree down on mile road blocking access , we are being alerted to avoid this road completely . They are currently working on the situation . :(

Just a quick update on the internet issues within the village, there was supposed to be an engineer out today but unfortunately that hasn't transpired as the issue appears to be more problematic than was initially anticipated BT are reviewing it tommorow ,so unfortunately no internet tonight . I will keep you periodically updated for however long it lasts , hopefully now not too long , we are assuming all the bypass work which is in effect on the road out of singleton, has had some sort of relationship to the current issue.:(

Just a quick heads up about the BT internet issue within the singleton village, there will be an engineer sent out on Wednesday the 16th between 8 and 1 , I've been on the my bt app talking to an advisor, it looks to be a bigger problem than was anticipated, hopefully all will be up and running after then.

Approaching the singleton traffic lights coming in and out of the village , around the new building development , slow down and watch your tyres there is a raised area within the road. :)

The bin next to the church seems full up to the brim , so much so people are placing dog muck on top which is presenting a bit of a hazard with flies ect... , please be mindful where you place your bags of dog muck if the bin is full look for another in the village , responsible dog walking !!! Many thanks :)

It's good to see a number of parents showing consideration and parking on the bowling green carpark whilst dropping there children off at singleton school , the road is a lot less congested and safer for local residents and passing traffic :) many thanks to the responsible people making an effort.

There are a great deal of stones and rubble in the middle of garstang road due to the bypass work , please mind how you go and watch your tyres , drive slowly !! Stay safe :)

Blot on the landscape , sat there enjoying the view then noticed the huge crane on the horizon, bypass building why oh why !!! Was it really the only solution ! , I believe not and I also feel sorry for all the people that live coming out of singleton it's surely must of de valued there property , never did I ever think that I would see such a monstrosity being built going into the village .
