, March 25 was National , and 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery were joined by service members from around the US Army Military District of Washington to respectfully acknowledge the incredible sacrifices made by all Medal of Honor recipients during a wreath-laying ceremony at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Many of these recipients attended, providing an incredible opportunity to salute so many of these living legends in person.

This cutting-edge technology being fielded to Army units has the capability to transport up to 150 lbs., providing crucial supplies to Soldiers in areas that may be inaccessible or too dangerous for vehicles or personnel. This Tactical Resupply Vehicle is aptly named the TRV-150.
Earlier in March, Soldiers with the 10th Mountain Division, assisted by the Civil-Military Innovation Institute, conducted training with this new drone at Fort Drum, NY.

Rappel Master candidates learn how to prepare a helicopter and rappel out of a UH-60 at 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division on Feb. 28, 2024. The five-day Rappel Master Course teaches the skills and techniques that are necessary to become a qualified Rappel Master.

Ever seen a HIMARS in action?
The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is a truck-mounted rocket artillery system, capable of launching multiple rockets from a single truck.
This HIMARS, operated by the 1-94th Field Artillery, 17th Field Artillery Brigade, fires missiles at simulated targets during exercise Cobra Gold 2024 on a range near Lop Buri, Thailand, March 4, 2024. Joint exercise Cobra Gold, now in its 43rd iteration, is the largest joint exercise in mainland Asia and a concrete example of the strong alliance and strategic relationship between Thailand and the United States.

Soldiers assigned to the 7th Army Training Command's (7ATC) U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CATC), conduct M4 rifle qualification at Grafenwoehr Training Area range in Grafenwoehr, Germany on Feb. 28, 2024.
7ATC is the U.S. Army's largest overseas training command, setting the training environment and resourcing live, virtual, and constructed training for all U.S. Army forces stationed to and deployed in Europe, and selected U.S. European Command, Allies, and Partner units.

Last week, the 2024 took place at Fort Liberty where Soldier athletes from all walks of life competed for their spot on for the Warrior Games. This year, the DoD Warrior Games will be in Orlando, Fla., June 21 – 30, 2024.

As part of the special SXSW 2024 Crossover Day, the "Agents of Change" panel celebrated the groundbreaking contributions of women within the Army’s civilian and military workforce and explored leadership, talent management, and breaking glass ceilings on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Austin, Texas.
Brig. Gen. Stephanie Ahern, U.S. Army Directorate of Concepts, Futures & Concepts Center; Mrs. Hong Miller, U.S. Army Futures Command, Human Capital Director; Ms. Lauren Brennan, U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command; and Ms. Ann Petrock, U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command discussed and answered questions on the Department of the Army’s transformational leader, U.S. Army Futures Command that designs for the concepts, technologies, and equipment that will shape the Army of the future.

New furniture fills Barrack 100 at Fort Cavazos!
Currently, 70 of the 99 barracks across the installation have undergone renovations, with an additional 15 being updated. Upon completing these renovations, Soldiers assigned to these barracks will be welcomed with brand-new furniture, enhancing their living experience.

The future is now! Did you know that the U.S. Army is experimenting with autonomous helicopters?
