🫱🏼‍🫲🏽From one who has managed her own Mental Health Issues since a very young age and initially taught not to tell anyone, not to let anyone know my business, for fear of shame and ridicule, feelings of disappointment and blame, felt left to deal with it on my own. That advice wasn't given in the best interests for me. Therefore, I was left feeling I couldn't talk to anyone, no-one would understand me, no one would believe me. This left me masking and putting on a brave face, but the outer smile never ever reflected the inner sadness I felt.

🫴🏽The long-term effects? The turmoil, the secrets and the trauma had to go somewhere, so they quietly took up residence within my body. Hiding away in the nooks and crannies of my inner shell, feeling safe but waiting for a day, they could feel freedom, a day when they could find their voice and be heard.

🫱🏼‍🫲🏽Don't let Your Inner Voice Be Quietened. Let it Have Volume. Speak To Be Heard and Talk to Someone Who will Listen.

🫴🏽I've been Managing my Long Term Physical Conditions for the Last 17+years because I didn't believe I could speak out so I masked it. My Mental Health Plays a Huge Part in my now Self Care Package. Never Underestimate the Power of Planting a Seed as one day they may feel that seedling growing and want to water it!🌱

🍃Let's Begin by Clearing Out the Clutter First... before we go planting any seeds and expecting them to grow into Beautiful Flowers & Nutritious Vegetables... we're best clearing out all the muck n debris from the past season first... we'll then achieve more efficient results🍃

🌱 Don't know about you... but I need to do this with my thoughts... clear out last seasons crap... do a bit o Spring Cleaning of my mind... I then find I function more efficiently when I do🌱
