Bored with your underwhelming backyard? Here are some tips to get you started on your new Backyard Oasis!
🌱 Start small, you don't have to make it into a 24 hour home makeover show.
🌱 Physically draw out and map out what changes you'd like to make (landscape designers can help with this!) Make sure to create shaded spots for those hot days if you don't already have any!
🌱 Fix any drainage issues that your yard may have to save you time & money down the road.
🌱 Start with the permanent structures like the Patio or Deck and build your landscaping plan around them.
🌱 Get your soil tested before you make any big greenery purchases and know what climate zone you are in for the best plants and grass to go with ($ saver!) If you don't have a green thumb or are limited on time, make sure to choose low-maintenance options!
🌱 Research if you want to use landscape rock or mulch to keep your plant investments thriving.
🌱 Begin adding in your personal finishing touches like patio furniture, bird feeders, and swings!
