What I've learned in moving to a foreign country, about myself 28/04/2017

I often talk about how travel changes us, and it is something I truly believe deep in my soul.

Today, I want to share how it is a notion that I believe in more deeply than I did even a year ago, when I took a trip that profoundly impacted my life in ways I could never expect.

It was a year ago today that I landed in a foreign country for a reason I had hoped and dreamed about for a long time. I took the trip partly because I love going new places (remember, I’m the guy who tracks everywhere he’s been) but this was to become the first step in a major life change, with someone I think the world of. This was a mission of the heart, and this venture began a process by which I would find myself changed emotionally and spiritually. What started out as a birthday celebration, and remains a celebration today, has turned into a life changing experience. One that I would never change.
