'Dani accepts a job given by a vampire. Her clan hunts some monsters like him, but seems like both are desperate: She is broke, and the vampire is dealing with some overwhelming, bad stuff inside his lair.

Spoilers: He is bad with technology and needed to replace a burnt electrical shower head. They become friends.'

1~ Today is my birthday! 2~ Happy 2023!! (so many emotions!!) 🎉 3~ I sketched an old Dracula piece again recently!

My patrons had access to WIPs and a hi-res version of the old version. I plan to post the new hi-res soon as well. Another way to get this artwork is via my print shop below/bio link.

The first time I sketched this I was thinking about the Netflix Castlevania show and Lisa (such a sweet pair and I enjoyed how their story was told. The animation and art style is insanely beautiful as well.) But I guess you can fill the details with any classical romantic or goth heroine? Even perhaps an alternative-universe Mina Murray/Harker? Your self-insert? Is your self-insert Dracula? Who knows!

In the new version I polished all details and went for a wider, more dramatic silhouette. I love the old version but enjoyed the new charm as well. Enjoy and ty for being with me through 2022! Wishing you all a kind, bright, (goth,) and fun 2023.

The months are random. I'm just celebrating having more than enough art to fill the spaces, which wasn't a reality a couple of years ago. ♥

2023 goals: improve the craft, more 💰, keep allocating $$ for emergencies, breaks and vacations — non negotiable and absolutely necessary. Bonus: Maybe more RPG art? 🎲

Time to let this go — a view of the town around a windmill workshop.

It's also in my world/side-project "Butterflies". While painting I realized I'd like more vertical variation (as in buildings in different heights), more unkempt corners, nature/yards. Still happy with how this came out, and I'm 100% keeping the windmill structure as my character's workshop.

The last weeks have been intense. I'm trying to squeeze a long offline break during the Holidays (to binge-play Dwarf Fortress and Vampire Survivors), And in the meantime I missed my personal settings and characters.

In this portrait I wanted something between a sketch and a polished piece, so some shadows and the hair textures have a more abstract, hazy style. This character has eye circles and a signature 'fluffy halo of hair' + 'smudged eyeliner' + 'concerned' look, so I kept that in mind as well.

Refined Chew's character concept ♥ Maybe he seems mean? He's a (short, hyperactive, stressed) sweetheart, though.

This was challenging and exciting! I wanted a new
character piece for the portfolio, plus to keep developing my 'Butterflies' universe, while remaining faithful to Chew's original sketches and features.

An Envy! Saarebas Inquisitor x Cullen scene to illustrate a Dragon Age Inquisition fanfic.

Lots of Qunari refs, teeny tiny details, lore-friendly new designs and imagery:
• an Andraste sword grip;
• Saarebas' dress mixes circle of magi + Qun (nonsense, but very relevant to this fade dream!);
• foci/orb of destruction arms' flesh;
• the crystals — red lyrium or anchor shards? Both?;
• and there are also hints of Cullen's lyrium kit, all contributing to the dynamics and contrasts at play in the scene;
• Real-world refs like the myth of Kali.

Hey! A year ago I finished a personal challenge of writing + illustrating a Dragon Age Origins fan fiction. ♥ It was great to obsess over so many characters and designs and create an alternative story within the DA's universe. And also to practice English!
