Hudson received assistance from H2H for his 3 year old male cat named Wilson who has always had some aggressive tendencies and spraying that until recently Hudson was been able to manage to the point he was considering surrender. He stated that Wilson is currently doing alright, that he was prescribed medication, and is feeling optimistic. The medication prescribed at the time of his vet visit was an ear medication and Wilson has always had behavioral issues. He was cryptorchid at time of neuter and only one testicle was found. Both the vet and CRHS recommended possibly reopening him to see if another testicle was found. Vet allso discussed behavioral euthanasia or outdoor placement although is a bite risk. We sure hope all is going better for Hudson & Wilson.

For the month of June we are switching it up a bit!
We are collecting donations for Heart2Heart Pet Lifeline. A nonprofit organization who "provides financial help for veterinary services and other pet needs through community donations and support. Board members have worked extensively with animal shelters and animal rescue organizations. We know too well the difficulties faced by pet families and animal welfare organizations when pet medical care cannot be managed. Our goal is to keep animals out of the overcrowded shelter environment by helping to keep animals with their loving families. When people must forego care because of cost but choose to keep their beloved animal at home, it is the animal who suffers and pays the cost with poor health."

We have both donation boxes set up at La Crosse and Onalaska stores!
And as always, thank you all who share, donate and more, y'all are Rockstar's!

Our Story

Recognizing the healing power of companion animals, the mission of Heart2Heart Pet Lifeline is to keep pets out of shelters and rescues and help owners keep them in loving homes. To that end, we intend to provide financial assistance for veterinary care to pet families in need who would not otherwise receive care. No owner should have to choose between medical care and euthanizing or surrendering a pet.
