Kia ora, I am Charlotte Meiklejohn!

You’ll generally find me in the skies where I am the at my happiest flying all over the world working for Air New Zealand as a Long Haul Flight Attendant!

I am always on the move and absolutely obsessed with having a healthy lifestyle! I love being in the gym or the Pilates Studio where I feel I can reconnect!

Any opportunity to dress up is the best feeling in the world, it gives you the empowerment of knowing beauty starts with who you are and how you portray it!

I am so excited to be continuing my pageant journey into 2024 as a Miss New Zealand Finalist!

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the New Zealand Cherry Blossom Festival in Hamilton! 🌸

We were fortunate to watch a wide variety of cultural dances yesterday for the Multicultural weekend! Pictured below is a group of students from Fairfield Intermediate School who preformed a gorgeous Kapa Haka (Permission given to share photo)

Miss Auckland truly changed my life this year ✨ This pageant has guided me and opened so many new doors for me! My personal growth has hit the sky, my confidence has grown my determination has increased and my friend group has grown! To my pageant girls in both Miss Auckland & Miss New Zealand Ltd thank you for getting me to this moment 🤍

My support group on final night I don’t know what I would do without you! Each and everyone of you mean the world to me and to have you all there yelling out (not so quietly might I add) honestly made me feel on top of the world so thank you! This includes all those that watched the live stream and to those who supported me throughout this whole journey! 👑

Weekend recap!‼️

Saturday night I had the honour of being able to attend the Miss Earth New Zealand Final with some of my Miss New Zealand Ltd Pageant sisters including the current Miss New Zealand Ltd Lydia Smit and National Director of both Miss NZ and Miss Auckland Meg Kenney! 👑

Sunday was by far the most important day for myself and my Miss Auckland Pageant Sisters as we held our Prejudging. This entailed our Interviews & Charity Presentations to the judges along with our walks for both Evening Gown and Resort Wear, plus we also got to preform our talents! I couldn’t have asked for a better group of supportive girls to do this with, these girls have become my some of closest friends and I definitely wouldn’t be where I am without these girls🤍

I would also like to thank my sponsor Westpoint Earthmoving Ltd (Euan)for making this all possible for me! To all my family and friends who have been there right beside me through this haerenga (journey) and supporting me all the way! To Meg who has made this all possible right from the start, you gave me that little push to go for it and I wouldn’t be here without you, the guidance you have given to me and to all the girls is honestly something I can’t explain! Each and everyone of you have made a huge difference in my life and I am so lucky to have you all there supporting me 👑

Tomorrow is the biggest day for all of us Miss Auckland girls! This is where we gain almost all our points to determine the Top 5 and the new Miss Auckland for 2023 👑

So much work has gone into this moment over the last 3 & 1/2 months and I can’t wait to experience with my girls! Lots of nerves and excitement to say the least but I definitely know I will take away the best experience of my life no matter what! 🩷

Which means final night is close! T-minus 3 weeks until the Grand Final on the 18th June in which both a new Miss Auckland and Miss New Zealand Ltd will be crowned!

I wouldn’t be who or where I am without my mum Lisa Meiklejohn! My mum has always been there right by my side through everything, the good times and the hard times! Love you always!🩷
