12 years today around this time of day, you took your last breath..no one was ready for this shock of a young 44 years old man dying at a blink of a eye. Brian you will never be forgotten💔I can still here that contagious laugh, and that smile, oh my implanted in my heart forever.. we sure lost a good one 12 years ago, and it has not been the same since. When the loss, momentarily forgotten,
creeps up,
and attacks you from behind.
Fresh waves of grief as the realisation hits home,
they are gone.

and as you awaken,
so does your memory,
so does the jolting bolt of lightning that rips into your heart,
they are gone.

Losing someone is a journey,
