Why Am I Qualified? - I have an umpiring qualification for netball.
- I play on the BUC’S netball team.
- I am a member of two separate clubs at home. It’s clearly my passion.
I truly believe netball is the greatest sport on the planet. When I was younger my Brother wouldn’t let me watch it on TV so I decided to paint SUFFRAGETTE in black on the wall of our hallway. I was a dramatic child.

Why I would love to be in the committee again? - I have been fresher’s rep for a year and very quickly realised that I would love a greater role. I have got involved as much as possible. I went to Budapest and most of the socials.

What I could bring as sports rep? Obviously as netball is the greatest sport on earth It would be really fun regardless of who is running the session…but who doesn’t love a bit of competition?
I think that netball matches between different years would be a really great way to introduce first years to the law society and I wish I had had access to this when I first started.
Matches between other courses could be possible.
Similarly, I have got links with the Bird and Bird netball team. I know they have played other university’s and it would be nice to get in contact with them to make possible future links.
I’m open to running different sports it would be nice to play a few rounders matches in the summer at Foxhill and I believe this would be a nice feature if people showed interest.

However, this role truly is what you make it and its about what people want to do. I think mainly I am qualified for this role because I would make it good fun but equally I know that there is a demand for a bit of competition and I would be more than happy to take that on.
