We are happy to offer another Sensory Processing Training for Parents, Carers and Professionals working with children. This training is taking place at senSI in Mulbarton on Thursday 18th July at 10am-12pm. To book a place please email [email protected]

Is your child starting new school in September?
We are happy to let you know that we are running our Transition Group sessions this summer on Wednesday 31st July and Wednesday 14th August at 10am-12pm.
The group helps to normalise anxiety and anticipation that comes with starting somewhere new and we help to manage any specific issues the young person may be unsure of.
This is a small practical group with some fun activities and everyone in the same boat.

The cost of this group is £35 per person per session. You only need to attend one of these dates.

We tidied our mud kitchen so it’s all ready to explore!
A mud kitchen is a great outdoor space for your little one that will provide them with the opportunity to explore and to have lots of sensory fun.

At senSI we offer various training opportunities and groups for parents and carers. This time we’d like to invite you to join our next “Just Right State” programme which is starting on the 14th May.
This 4 week programme aims to provide practical tools and support to help navigate the challenges of parenting and caregiving, promoting wellbeing and balance in your everyday life.

Here are some reasons why participating in this programme can be highly beneficial:
1. SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE: Parenting and caregiving come with their unique set of challenges. The programme offers a supportive environment where you can share experiences, gain insights and receive guidance from experts and fellow participants.
2. STRESS MANAGEMENT: Juggling responsibilities can often lead to stress and burnout. Our programme equips you with strategies to manage stress effectively, promoting mental and emotional wellbeing for both you and your family.
3. SELF-CARE: As caregivers it’s easy to neglect our own needs while focusing on others. Just Right State emphasis the importance of self care and provides practical techniques to incorporate self-nurturing practices into your daily routine.
4. BUILDING RESILIENCE: Life is filled with ups and downs, and building resilience is essential for navigating its challenges. Through the programme you’ll learn how to cultivate resilience, enabling you to bounce back stronger from adversity.
5. CONNECTION AND COMMUNITY: Being part of a community of like-minded individuals can be incredibly empowering. The Just Right State programme creates a supportive network that you can lean on for encouragement and inspiration.

This programme will teach you how sensations can be used to: sooth you, uplift you, help you stay calm when aggravated, and most importantly, to enable you to have fun in your relationship with your child.

We believe that investing in your well-being as a parent or carer not only benefits you, but also positively impacts your family dynamics and relationships.
