Fieldsy is a singer-singwriter that specialises in Rebel and Ballads, from Artane in Dublin, she moved to Killucan Westmeath when she was 19, before making the big jump to Perth Western Australia in her late 20's.

After over 11 years in Australia where her music career started to blossom, she has moved back to Westmeath and is busy touring the country gigging and writing new music.

She gets to fulfill a dream in early August when she supports the legendary Wolfe tones in Mullingar at the Lakeland Sessions Festival!

This baby panda was sent from China to Japan as an ambassador for the friendship between the two countries.
On the flight, instead of being locked in a cage under the animal compartment, the bear was instead sitting in the passenger cabin, with his caregiver, wearing a seat belt, wearing a diaper and enjoying bamboo leaves during flight.

Two years ago CNN released a photo taken by the photographer Anil Prabhakar in the forest in Indonesia. The image shows an orangutan, currently under threat of extinction, while stretching out his hand to help a geologist who fell into a mud pool during his search.
