This season’s Oregons are made from reclaimed wood. They were saved from a burn pile🤗🤗🤗🤗 And if you purchase one… look at you being all environmentally conscious 🤗🌲 They are sealed and prepped to be either a cheese board or hang on the wall as art, just maybe not at the same time 😉 🧀

I’ve been wanting to try toner foiling for a while and finally got all set up. The process is pretty much printing from a laser printer, putting a sheet of special foil on it and running them both through a laminator. The possibilities are endless.

The hubby got a new, ribbon burner forge yesterday, so he set up his smaller forge for our son, Caeden. Caeden has grown up alongside me doing every type of art I would try out. Now he gets to learn blacksmithing/forging with dad!🥰
That’s a lot of resin!!! 2 gallons! I can’t wait to get my kitchen back together to show off the counters🤗 I was going for a copper and patina look. It turned out looking more like lava 🌋, but since we live next to a volcano, seemed fitting. 😏

A little Stratocaster neon light I just finished for my dad. For the Fender logo I used some reflective vinyl that only lights up with a camera flash. It’s pretty fun🤗

When I was 8, I remember sitting at my Great Aunt’s ancient typewriter and telling God “If you get me a typewriter like this, I’ll make stuff for you and hand it out to people so that they’ll know you, too.” (We didn’t have a lot of money growing up and the typewriter opened up the possibility to make printed things!)
I can’t believe how many crafting gadgets/machines/toys and supplies have come my way in the past few years. I’ve never forgotten telling God that, but I think it might be more like stepping into and trusting who/what God made you to be and just watching what He’ll do! I don’t think I would’ve been telling Him that at a young age if He hadn’t already designed me for it.
I hope that makes sense. Covid x4 really did a number on my brain and words are hard🤪
Sleeping under the stars. All my senses are alive out here. The smell of sage on the warm breeze. Listening to two types of crickets while busy desert birds zoom by. Tiny lizards run up the rocks and snakes slither into the underbrush. Stars twinkling blue, red, yellow and orange meteors leaving trails across the night sky. The sound of friend’s and family’s laughter echoing across the mesa. It’s nights like these I want to engrave in my memories.
And the hubby took me riding on the back of the Polaris up the Oregon Trail (which my family crossed years ago).🥰

I was commissioned to make a stained glass piece incorporating glass flower candle holders with sentimental value. The only stipulation was abstract with blues and purples. Here is my interpretation… “Flowers Floating Down The Sandy River.”
On today’s episode of “Covid Couch Crafting with Clover” we feature needle felting! An exciting art form you can do while flopped on the couch!!!
Covid’s got me plopped on the couch for a bit, so I’m working on some stained glass designs, but have I shown you my coffee table?!
Papa and I made it together in the summer of ‘21. It makes me so happy!!! There’s a mermaid lagoon with real opal, a sunken ship, hammerheads, stingrays, floating bubble things. The cliffs are from a burl that my dad (Papa) cut and finished.
Papa used to hang-glide along the coast and got to see these views from the sky. Can you imagine?!
When the background is blurred because allllll the supplies for alllllll the projects are out (alllll the time). Can anyone relate?😂
