Brittany was told that her baby daughter Jubilee would not survive while she was pregant with her. As Brittany and her husband processed this, they turned to the Psalm 100:5 for comfort. They leaned on the statement "the Lord is good" as God continued to show up through the highs and lows of her pregnancy and beyond.
Sharing our stories. Sharing His story.

Partnering together as a family: TEXT TEN
At Magnify, our Benevolent fund is the tool with which God allows us to step in and help those in need from our church family and the community. This past Sunday at all three of our campuses we took up a special offering to refill that fund. We want to thank you for your generosity! If you missed this on Sunday and are interested in giving, text the word TEN to 616-433-2011 and follow the prompts to give.
This Fall, Ensley and Northview each have opportunities for students to connect, reflect, and grow together. At Magnify, worship is one of our six values and is a big part of who we are as a church. Gratitude for God’s redemptive work through Jesus fuels passionate worship for God every day of the week. Sunday is unique – it is when we humbly lay down our agendas and open our hearts to meet with God and His people. We meet corporately to pray, worship and learn from the Bible. This practice helps us align our story with God’s story. Meeting Sunday prepares us to worship God every day, in every aspect of our lives.
Join us this Sunday, October 13th at 5:30pm for our Fall Praise Service as we worship together as a church body!

RELATE
Real means authentic. No masks. Honest talk about who we are and our need for redemption to encourage each other. Though made for relationships, we abandon God, hurt each other, hide in shame. Sin. Jesus is our only hope. In Him we are new. His way is openness, healing, transformation, and service as His followers connect deeply with Him and each other. Change occurs within community by the Spirit as we speak the truth in love, honor one another, and extend care. Transformation leads to service – the outward focus.
Relationships are an important value to Magnify Church, which is why we offer small groups for all ages. If you are interested in learning more about Magnify’s groups and ministries, go to magnifychurch.org and get connected.

Alaska Mission Trip 2024
A few weeks ago twenty-six 1829ers headed up to Tanalian Bible camp to minister to 51 middle schoolers, doing everything from counseling, cooking, maintenance, programming, speaking, and worship. It’s a privilege to be able to communicate the Gospel in an area of our country where there is very little or no Gospel witness in some of the villages that the kids come from. This trip disciples our young adults in leading and loving in articulating their faith and continuing to serve faithfully, even when it’s difficult and exhausting.

West Virginia 2024
This past week 85 middle school students went to Ace Adventure Resort in West Virginia as they spent time in God’s creation. They spent time with old friends, made new ones, leaned on God as they stretched their comfort zones, and learned from God’s Word every night under the glowing night of the stars. They studied Ephesians and looked at how wide and long and high and deep the love of Christ is to us, and how His love gives us worth and the ability to “Fight the good fight of the faith”.
When you are baptized it is a loud statement that you follow Jesus. You were dead in your sin, but now alive because of the cross of Christ. His sacrifice. Your acceptance. A new life emerges.
Let’s join together as a church family to cheer on those who are making their faith in Jesus Christ public through baptism August 25th at Maranatha Conference Grounds. It is an exciting and encouraging time that you will want to put on your calendar. The celebration includes baptism stories and worship. Tetons 2024
Hiking in the mountains was quite the majestic experience for the 124 high schoolers and leaders, who lived for a week in the Tetons wilderness, and spent time becoming more in love with Jesus. Each small group of hikers spent time daily beholding God’s glory around and within. Students were invited to see spaces in their lives where more of God’s glory and beauty could take hold. They were challenged through their fatigue and discomfort to learn humility and selflessness, as well as to gain traction in their walk with Christ.
What does it look like to allow the gospel to shape your life? What if your life doesn’t look like you expected? Join us as we continue to study Philippians and consider what it means to live with humility, gratitude, and a focus on being more like Jesus.
Join us Sunday July 21st 6-7pm, to watch the KWAC 2024 performance: A Not so Terrible Parable. Snacks start at 5:30pm!
